My girl is home!

She was walking on her leg last night and continues to do well today. The vet and the surgeon both said she is one tough girl. Most dogs don't do so well so quickly. I know that just means she is going to want to run too soon.

She is eating and "recycling" her food just fine. They sent home pain meds for 4 days as well as some Pepcid and a sedative. She hasn't needed to the last two yet, and hopefully that will remain the case.
Her tumor was longer going up and down that is was wide so they didn't need to take as much skin that way making it easier for her to walk now with less pulling. Thank you everyone for the prayers and the vibes! they seem to be doing their thing! You all are the best!
I am attaching a few pictures. One is her ride home. She slept most of the two hour drive but was getting antsy towards the end. There is one that shows how much the shaved off. Another shows the incision. It is kind of hard to spot with her brindle markings. The last picture is her sleeping after her dinner.
