Completely Boxer Crazy
And the Judy Blume books...had every single one...friends used to beg me to let them read them, most parents wouldn't let there kids read them...compared to the stuff out there today...Where is Judy Blume now ????

Good Golly, I loved Judy Blume.
I insisted just last month that my niece go to the library and get
"Are you there God, It's me Margaret"
She's at that age and asking Aunt Jill (the COOL Aunt) too many questions .
She loved it.

Roller skating, terrycloth, halters, pixies, Yep been there.
My crush was on Roddy McDowell (Planet of the Apes). Had the tshirts, lunchbox, posters.

We'd rehearse really hard and put on a weekly show for the neighbors. We lip synched and danced to the tunes of Elton John, Rod Stewart, Bay City Rollers, The Cassidy's, Osmonds and my personal Favorite, The Jackson 5.
Even served up chips and sodas.

No wonders we're all so messed up.
I still love to dance though.

Shag carpet

Does anyone else remember their parents raking their green shag carpet? This is probably why I love "That 70's Show"...it reminds me of the good 'ol days.

The more that people add, the more that I remember and can totally relate to!!

Jill - I used to make up dance shows too! And I still also LOVE to dance!! I just recently got the KC and the Sunshine Band's Greatest Hits and my husband hates it. He just doesn't understand!!

I remember skating to "Dancing Queen" by ABBA and whenever the chourus would come on I would dance on one skate leaning over with my other leg out behind me with my arms out. I guess I was trying to be like Dorothy Hamil (sp?). Geez, that's embarassing!!
