Completely Boxer Crazy
Sorry I didn't post earlier, but Josi is doing great today. We have hotter lips and we had 2 small poo's today...woohoo! She is eating everything she can get her mouth on and I am just hoping that her good health continues atleast through the weekend so she can have a good visit with her aunt/uncle and grandma/grandpa. I asked the oncologist's tech to call in a new prescription of prednisone to my hospital employee pharmacy b/c I knew it would be much cheaper than I have been paying at the local vets. Well I asked for just a 2 week refill b/c it scares me to jinx anything, but wouldn't you know it that I went to pick it up and it was for a 60day supply. I asked if they could atleast half it, but to my shock it was only $11 for the 60 day refill. Boy have I been getting taken to the bank at my vets (i was paying $16 for a two week supply) and hey now Josi will just have to hang around for that much longer! I will check back in later...

I think that's a sign that Ms. Diva is gonna hang around for a while! I paid $22 for 40 preds. I was expecting more so I was happy! (of course I would have paid anything for my baby!)

Woowoo - great news on the hot lips and the two poos. Glad you were able to get the meds so cheap. Sounds like the vet has a really large mark-up. Sending good vibes that Josi continues to rebound so she can enjoy time with her family over the holiday.
