Ms Josi just didn't want you to go to work, so she stayed in bed, too bad Diva girl, it almost worked. The weekend is not so far away this week, then Warrior Princess you get 3 whole days being spoiled rotten.

Well i came home to a bundled up baby on the bed. She perked up when I said chicken and before I knew it she was following me into the kitchen to make sure I was fixing her food right. Her gums are still a pale pink and like Brian said she seems wiped, but the fact that she is wanting food and not throwing up appears to be all good signs to me. She is a remarkable Warrior Princess:) Brian and I talked this afternoon that we really need to prepare ourselves for much more frequent bleeds and the inevitable...I mean over three weeks ago the internist was telling us based on her ultrasound she had hours to days. It is so hard to imagine that one of these times she will not be able to fight the bleed off, but I am convinced at this point that she will die trying. I keep trying not to think to the future and live in the moment, but it is hard at times. Instead I will focus on the near future and that is nursing her back to health for her impending aunt & uncle visit. Boy how she loves to terrorize Brian's brother by lick attacking him...he has always been afraid of dogs until Josi came around...he couldn't believe that such a strong animal could be so sweet, caring, and obedient. Her aunt is a huge dog lover and Josi has her tricked into giving her a belly rub each and everytime she rolls over and does the swat. I am going to hang out at home for a good while longer and watch the baby snore away...I'll post later:)

Staci, dont you hesitate for a moment to spare us the roller coaster ride, WE ARE ALL emotionally invested in Josi and love her so much... I am also one that anxiously waits to hear about your day, your weekends and anything you have to tell us about Josi... the good is always better then the bad, but it lets her Warrior Pride shine thru the way she fights these things HEAD-ON!!! never letting up, With wonderful parents to draw strength from it's no wonder she's been battling this demon since Christmas time... We are in this with you and Brian... and I know all of us here wish we could be there physically to take up some of the burden and to just lend a supportive shoulder, but we are with you in this spiritually...

Keep on eatin your Chicken sweet girl Josi, and watch over how mama prepares it to make sure it's just right for your 'diva-self'...

we love ya all... take care, Prayers, vibes, and love as always...:)

Staci, I hope you didn't think I was referring to "us" when I mentioned the roller coaster ride. I was thinking that you and Brian have got to be so terribly stressed. Miss Josi has become a part of all of us, and if you didn't post updates, we'd all go nuts worrying about her. I feel honored that you are sharing your girl and her journey with us. Hang in there....more good vibes on the way.

Don't stop posting. Post as often as you can. I anxiously wait for the updates. I'm disappointed when I log on an there isn't an update about the Princess Warrior. You are right there will come a time that she will be released to the Rainbow Bridge with our other babies but until then, enjoy every moment and of course pamper and wait on her every need (just like you are doing). My baby isn't even sick and I pamper and spoil her. Josi is the most incredible baby yet. I hope my Sable has that same determination that Josi has.

I too always look for updates on Josi. It must be difficult some days to come here to post, and we understand. Taking care of your Warrior Princess is the most important thing. But I like to keep up with what's going on with our Diva girl. Sending strength and healing vibes to Josi and her family.

Please don't think you're dragging us along in any way. We've (almost) all lost a much loved pet at some point and hearing how Josi continues to fight gives us hope for the next time we are in that situation. We know that she'll eventually give up the battle, but in the meantime, her fight is an inspiration.
Post as often as you feel comfortable, just remember we're here and thinking of you.

Each and everyone of you are so amazing and I thank you:) Like I have always said, I could not do this without you all and the Warrior Princess of course. I can't tell you how blessed it makes me feel to log on each day and see you all always checking in on us and giving me your words of guidance, love, and support.

Ok...enough sappy stuff for the night, Ms. Diva is back to the ferocious eating animal I have grown accustomed to love. Her gums haven't returned to hot and we haven't had a poo today, but she is recovering once again very nicely!
