did'nt mention it before but roxi passed away this week and is no longer with us but one of the other things she would do is when you arrived home after kidney beaning and showing you her toy that she has been playing with is to bite on your shoes just holding it in her mouth without moving until you take it off and after you do she will do the same with the other shoe as if she is telling you to take off your shoes and stay awhile. just loved coming home and being greeted by her.

Jamila loves licking the tops of your bare feet if you're walking in the back yard. she also loves licking polished wood. she does the kidney bean dance, and she loves doing little gruff grouchy barks that sound like harrumphs. I heard her growl for the first time the other day and she had a deep bass rumble like a lion

fostergirl

Boxer Pal
I'm wondering if anyone else's boxer does this?? Foster ( my beautiful boxer girl ) likes to jump up on the couch and sit on my chest ( yes, my boobs ) and put her feet on the arm of the couch and just sit there for a few minutes. It cracks me and my husband up, it's even funnier when she tries to do it to him, and just keeps sliding down his chest - she will however try about 3 or 4 times until she realizes that it just won't work on dad.

Another funny thing is when her ball or toy rolls under the bed or some piece of furniture and I realize I haven't seen her in a while. I will go into the bedroom to find her lying down staring under the bed - never barking or whining - just staring as if the ball is going to magically roll out to her if she stares long enough - talk about patience and persistence. Even though she has about 10 other toys in the living room, it's always the one under the bed that you can't reach that she wants. So off to get the broom, so I can get the darn ball. It never fails, right after the broom is put away, somehow it ends up under the bed again. I swear she does it on purpose. LOL

All of 'em!

Oh, my little one love to sit on my chest while I am watching tv. If I lay down, she tries sitting on my head. All I can do is laugh at her! She gets so excited when we come home and kidney beans until she notices her tail behind her, so she then spends 10 minutes chasing it, or her back leg, around the kitchen! She gets very vocal at the vacuum cleaner and hairdryer and we had to go buy her her very own broom because she kept taking mine. The neighbors probably think our puppy is nuts carrying a full size broom through the yard! She is very adventurous and we found her standing on my husbands car. Can you imagine? It was like a safari when one of the lions jumps up on a car! She is only 7 months and we look forward to many many years of entertainment!

Jesse's Mom

Boxer Pal
Our Jesse loves to stand over you too! He especially does this if someone is sitting/lying on the floor. We always thought he was just trying to be the dominant male, ha.
One of his nicknames is "Lick-a-sorous" because he loves to give kisses, especially in the morning. We ask him if he has a "licker license"!! Love that kidney bean - wiggle butt greeting at the end of my day....

Our Leesha does the "kidney bean" dance whenever she's excited. She also rolls on her back rubbing it on the carpet with her legs up in the air - I can usually hear her snorting when she's doing this, no matter where I am in the house. She also puts her head on you whenever you are sitting down and lets out this big sigh like she's carrying the weight of the world on her shoulders. She curls up into a ball in her basket when she is sleeping and he stretches out fully in front of the fireplace (I don't know how she can stand the heat)!

Bennington doesn't woo woo or kidney bean yet. He's only 3 months old so I am hoping he will start soon. He also loves to "boxer burn" around the basement. He does circles around our couch and sometimes goes up and down the stairs too! That really cracks me up! He also has this thing about putting his head on the floor and flipping his body over. It looks like he's doing a somersault. I am really enjoying having a boxer around.

Tucker's Mom

Super Boxer
Wow, and here I thought that my Tucker was an original. I don't know if he does anything that hasn't been mentioned here. He does have an undies obsession, but we're trying to break him of that. It's all we can do to keep him out of the laundry hamper. And, when Johnny scolds him, he always pouts and sucks up to me. The only other major thing I've noticed is what we call "Booger Sugar." If we ignore him, he'll get real close and blow out through his nose as hard as he can. Which always leaves you covered in boxer snot. :( He has surprised many of our house guests this way.
