By reading all of the responses i guess chato is the same as all of yours. He is probably coppers twin. At first I thought he was part cat the way he wouls use his paws. He like to lay down next to me when i am watching TV with his head on the pillow.

too funny!

Boggs does a lot of these as well. He loves to play catch so one of his favorite things is dropping the ball on the floor by you or the couch and staring at it and then backing up-just waiting for you to throw it. The backing up thing is hilarious! He definatey has the gas but just occasional, he has to "rest" his head on the furniture, does the "Boxer sigh", oh there's so much! He's a leaner too--he has to lean his whole body against you.

Riley (just over 4 months old now) will go out of his way to avoid puddles when walking. He will stop dead in his tracks and find another route around the puddle (no matter the size) or simply refuse to go any further.

We just had some snow here that recently melted and I had to pick him up to go through one particularly big slush puddle. I don't think that will work when he puts on another 30 pounds!

Mia is the exact opposite! She LOVES to jump in puddles! She makes a bee line for the biggest deepest MUDDIEST,puddle, and proceeds to Jackhammer in it making the water splash as high as she can!

Also does anyones baby like to bury their face into your lap or the duvet, and have you scratch and rub their ears? Mia's face is so funny when I do this for her, its like "OHH that is ssooooo good mum"!

I just have one boxer, it's a girl. I don't know other boxers. I thought these traits were proper my Kiara but I´m seeing that all boxers are the same. They are the most wonderfull animals in the world... I love them!!!

The Woo Woo Song

I just recently got my first boxer puppy. His name is Joe Boxer. He's only 8 weeks old and he already does many of the things you all mentioned. The one thing I'm not sure about is the Woo Woo song. What is that? I'm dying to know. :)

I'm so excited about my new puppy. Especially after all of the posts I've read from everyone here.

I think that the "WOO WOO" is when they sound like "Chewy" from Star Wars. LOL
My 3 yo Male hasn't done it forever and my 1.5 yo Female has never done it. I kinda miss the "Chewy" noises.

Rocky does all of the above minus the kidney beans, plus he likes to lay on the couch or loveseat and walk down with only his front feet draggin his back legs all the way down off the couch.

Reading these posts make me laugh so hard because Asia has every single one of these traits - even the exact opposites, such as the 'puddle of water' situation!!! Some days she will jump into the puddles and prance around but other days she will stop dead in her tracks to avoid getting her princess paws in that yucky water! :)

Draggin himself off the couch is what Max does, but he is very curious, "nosey" he has to be in everything, whether it is opening the mail or fixing something. Cute, I think. Also, he likes to have his jowls wiped after he drinks, but he drinks, comes to us and then we wipe and he does the same thing over. They are the best.
