Bella's traits
My dog Bella stares out in the backyard at night until she "sees something." She looks at my husband for permission, and then growls and runs out the doggy door barking. She quickly comes back in and looks like she has saved us again.
She also barks and does these horizontal 360 degree flips every time we open her food to feed her.

Nik comes into the living room after eating her diner, looks at us in our chairs, then just flops on her back, feet in the air, snorting happy little content "snorts", twisting and rolling back and forth. She'll do this like she is happy to be "full" and then after 3 minutes or so, she rolls back onto her feet and shakes. Then she has to go bark through the window at the joggers!

Bella does ALL of these things! The cutest are the woowoo song (hilarious), the big sighs which are just so adorable and the lying on the back!
Sometimes she also sort of holds her head with both her paws (so that they are crossed over her nose) and just stays like that lying on her back!
Not so cute is the gas, whn Bella does this my fella says "Bella, Pooh" and she looks all embarresed!
One things I love about her is that when she is hyper, you can just about get her to sit but when she is knackared, you can just lie her on your lap and she will snore away!

P.S - When Bella DREAMS, she moves funilly like she is trying to run! Sometimes she growls in her sleep too :D

I have a three year old male brindle named Roscoe. I also have a lab (Hunny) and a female albino boxer (Mia). For some reason he loves to lay on top of Hunny. He has done that since he was little. He also loves to antagonize Hunny and Mia, he will stand over them while they are laying there and bark and bark at them till thay get mad and play. Mia loves to play jackhammer.

My baby is a clown, she's always entertaining, she doesn't kidney bean as bad as her mother does(her mother will fold in half!) She doesn't sling her toys through the air when she's playing with them, although her mother did that, she loves laying on her back for no reason and it still tickles me. She's the BIGGEST snuggler, sometimes i'd rather curl up next to her than my boyfriend
She has bad gas, and she loves to swim. She doesn't ever woo unless she's in her crate and she's complaining. I don't know if it's a boxer thing or just a jocelyn thing, but she'll let me hold her like a baby in my lap as long as im rubbing her belly. She's the best, I wouldn't change her for anything.

I absolutely love this topic. I wanted to get on here as fast as I could to see if my two babies had a lot of the traits and they have every single on of them. They love to sing the woo woo song.. I love it it's the cutest thing ever. And now we laugh when they do it, they started doing it even more. HAHAH and I see the kidney bean like 10times a day.. they just get soo excited and dance around in their kidney bean postion. I think my male spends more time on his back than he does standing up :p. I don't think I have to say much about the gas. YUK
I have a question... does anyone else's boxers put their head on the floor and put their butt as high in the air as they can? My male does this all the time.. I'm beginning to wonder.:(
The thing he loves most is putting his head in the cushions with his butt high in the air and knock all the cushions onto the floor..I'm always picking up my cushions to my couch and love seat off the floor. Is this just my boxer or are there others?

Mine do the butt in the air thing when they are getting ready to attack anything including each other. They also love to kidney bean and almost can't walk they are going so fast. Mine also lean like they can't hold up their bodies especially the male. He has the sweetest eyes you ever saw. Greta loves to stand above tank and bark until he plays with her. They are always togather and even sleep on top of each other it is so cute. If I ever figure out how to post pictures then I will post a picture of them togather.

My 4 month Rocky is the same as the above, luckily minus the bad gas. Just an occasional stinker! He does LOVE to jackhammer my cats though. Cant say they love it much, (they do whatever they can to get away from him, but he seems to find them and pounces all over them again) He hates puddles, wont put one foot in them. Same goes for snow. When he goes outside, he will keep switching feet and always have one up in the air so as not to touch the snow. He's a kidney beaner every time he gets excited, which is all the time. He's also a climber. I think he influenced too much by my cats, because he thinks he is one. He climbs everywhere he goes, like up on the couch. He bats at his toys and me with his paws just like my cats do, only he's 3 times their size!

:D That's funny Bella's Bess. Trooper does the same thing he jumps up in the window seat and looks out and thinks he see something, it must be miles away b/c we never see it!. I'll say "do you see something?" and his eyes light up!, he barks and runs to the front door. Goes outside and runs all around the yard barking and jumping around, then he comes back inside like whatever it was I scared it away! Lucky us. It's so so funny. Trooper on duty!!
