You'll know when you see your pup what his or her name should be. Some from my past (mine and friends) were Pepper (cause he was speckled), Dudley (as in do right cause he was so well behaved), Ezekial ("Zeke" - breeder wanted a biblical name and we thought that was one of the more manly ones), Nero de la Bianca del Norte (Nero the white knight - a boxer, who was very distinguished), Brute (an enormous German boxer), Loki (my friend said that it was after the Norse god of mischief) - but once you lay your eyes on your little pup and see his or her personality, I'm sure you'll find a name that's the most suited!

Good luck and can't wait to see pics!!!

Marnold,
Do you mean Bacchus? If so, he was the greek god of wine and good cheer. Check out the Krewe of Bacchus website (New Orleans Mardi Gras Krewe) www.kreweofbacchus.org
and click on Mythology. I also suggested the name Bacchus in a reply yesterday!
Great minds think alike;)
My sister in law has a cat named Bacchus, and boy, is he mischievious!

We have Magnum and Omar. Our next male will probably be "Raider" for the Oakland Raiders - my husband's favorite team.

This may sound strange, but we will probably use the name Magnum again. That was the name of my husband's dog when he was a teenager and the dog my sister and I grew up with was named Maggie so we decided to name the first dog we owned as a family Magnum and he'll always have a special place in our heart.
