We have a white boxer named Powder. My wife wants to get a puppy and call it Puff. I could imagine calling them together at the dog park..POWDER..PUFF. I had to veto that one.

I like:

Gunny (Short for a Marine Gunnery Sergeant)
Hummer
HAMMER
GODZILLA or Zilla
Twister
Ruger

My wife likes:

Zane
Ruger

It's going to be "Her" puppy so she gets to name it. sigh So far she is leaning towards Ruger. :D

I loved lots of names, but my husband named both of ours! He named them for things that he loves in life.

Rita - Beatles song - "Lovely Rita, Metermaid"
*We acctually get tons of complements on the name Rita??
Munson - Larry Munson has been the play by play for the GA Bulldogs for about 40 years and we are huge fans

I loved these names:
Catch
Hollywood
Penny (Rita is white with one fawn spot that looks like a huge penny)
Hershel (Walker)
Vince

Our new baby's papa's name is Butchy Boxer Boy...Butch for short.
I like Moose, our boy;s name is Moose Boy Duke. We intended to call him Moose, but Duke seems to fit him better.

My male Boxer's name is Brody. I think that is a little different and kind of masculine. I thought of naming him Max, but I'm glad I settled on Brody . My female Boxer is named Holly. I got her as a Christmas gift and wanted to name her something associated with Christmas. I thought about Star, but decided on Holly. Have fun deciding on a name.

I was planning to get a boy originally and liked Tyson, or Oscar (de la hoya) or Joe..lol those are pretty common, but i still like them, i also like Jake...
I like people names for dogs... we got a dog when i lived in Spain, he had a spanish name, and it suited him, he only answered to spanish...he was Peco..my baby..
then my big mixed breed baby boy..great dane/mastiff mix.. 130 pound baby was Lurch..(like adams family) and that suited him, he had the black mask on his face, it just fit, he was a big goof ball

have fun picking a name, I just realized it was a year ago today i went and picked the girls up from the breeder at 6 wks old.. wow it flies by

I named our first boxer John L. Sullivan after the turn-of-the-century Irish boxer. We call him Sullivan. I found out that's semi-common among dogs, though. I named our second -- a girl -- Murphy Brown, after the TV show/character. It's her personality but I should have named her anything except Murphy. There must be 5 million of them! We adopted Tucker today and we're keeping his name. I just like it. Before we knew Tucker was ours we expected to name our new box an Irish surname. I liked Duffy, Clancy and O'Toole. We'd decided on O'Toole which we could shorten to Tooley if we chose. I'd avoid currently popular children's names like Jake or Emily. I have a grandson named Jake and my daughter's second girl will be Emily if there IS a second girl. I was going to name my daughter Heidi but my brother named his dog Heidi and that spoiled the name for me.

We have Siris and Sadie(very common but the kids chose that). My daughter's name is Symone. That is a beautiful name. It is very easy to say.

I'm jumpin' on this thread pretty late, I know, but I've always liked the names Jack or Buck.
For a girl, I like the name Pooka (ancient Irish for Mischevious Little Sprite). I think that would fit a female Boxer pretty well!
