how about.....

Well I have a boy names Ezekial, Zeke for short. But here is a great name for a little Mr. Man. How about Brinks? We have friends that named their boxer Brinks after the security system and I thought it was clever! Others we thought about were Knox, Gunner, Capone, Gotti, and Caption - we had a mafia theme while trying to decide because his dad's mane is Boss, (which is good also) and he was definetly the boss. One look at him and that name wasthe onlyname that fit the Boss.

For a girl, I like Uma & Gretchen

Great names listed!!

I originally wanted to name the pup T-Boo or something with T (which Cajun slang mean Lil or little) My better half is Cajun French (we're from N.O. Louisiana area) and she said NO! LOL...I guess growing up with numerous family members going by T-this or T-that...it sounds boring and ugly.

Soo...I think we've come to the agreement of Sherlock. We should be picking up the pup this weekend. So expect us to be on the boards with questions needed to be answered!

i see u have gotten a lot of help on names already :) this site really is great!! i just thought i would throw my 2 cents in as well :)

Girl-my youngest name is buttercup - from the princess bride; however my lil sister says it is from the powerpuff girls (a cartoon with 3 lil gril crime fighters) the other 2 powerpuff girls are Bubbles and Blossom :)

Boy- i really like the names from the mythology or taken from lord of the rings -aragorn, legolas, etc. my husband and i have decided that our next boxer (which we aren't getting for 2-3 yrs) will be a white boy and his name will be LORD FRODO WILSON - not very manly but it makes us laugh!

OK, OK! My name is Tristan and I am female! But I have met more men/boys with my name than girls! Tristan is a great name, actually at a dog show a few months ago I met a German couple who had named their male boxer Tristan! They were really surprised to meet me and looked at me twice:)

We are also waiting on a male puppy, we may get lucky this Summer! We have decided on the name Burton from Survivor but also from the Snowboard!

What is in a name

We were going to name out new boxer girl Arwen ( after LOTR) b/c my husband is an addict LOL. I won out though ( she WAS MY present after all) and we named her "aspen". She is a white boxer, and I thought it was perfect for her. Other suggestions:

Male: Czar, Racer, Gunner, Jackson

Female: Alba, Gwenny, Gracie, Marcie,

** I have read that dog names should be 2 syllabals since most commands are one syllabal??????????

What about Bob? Just kidding! How about Chopper for a boy, and Miss. Chevious (mischevious) for a girl? Cricket, Autumn, Tiggy off the top of my head.

My son named our male puppy after the Duck's goalie (hockey). His name is Jean Sebastian Giguere but we just call him Giguere (Jig-air). It is French Canadian and suits him well. So, do you have any favorite sports teams. Maybe someone on a team has a nickname that you might like. Good luck!:D
