Tattoos?

Seems like once you get one tatt you just cant stop.

LOL! I keep saying my next one will be my last one. I have three.... One on my hip/lower belly, my kids' names around my ankle, and a triquetra on the top of my foot. My next one will be on my lower back. All of my tattoos have stories behind them, but my stipulation is also that they have to be able to be covered up. I get the most comments on my foot, usually "Wow, didn't that hurt." The answer is, it wasn't too bad. The outline hurt a bit worse than the other tats I have, but it was not unmanagable at all. The color didn't bleed on it, either.

I love my 2 tats and plan on getting at least one more. When dh and I got married almost 8 yrs ago he said no more tats. (It was Lady Harley meets Mr. GQ) Now he rides a motorcycle and is all for me getting a tat and he's thinking of getting another one too. I didn't get my first till I was 28 so I knew what I wanted and interviewed this great guy in upstate NY. He was fantastic and did everything free hand which I liked. Both are on either shoulder now, so I can cover if I want. My next one will be over my heart with my daughter who passed away as the angel cradling my other two kids as their protector. Still looking for the right artist to get it out of my head. I can think it but can't draw it.

My dd has several tats in various places and my little sis has a few too (I got her the first one much to my mom's dismay If and when ds wants one, (when he's older) I'll take him too!! That's just because I'm the freaky mom

I love my tats and even at 41 still think they're a great form of expression.

Mine is on my lower back it is a claddagh you know hands holding a heart with a crown on top. It means Love Loyalty and friendship. My first one came from an idea at a site called Celtic lady. I haven't got the Celtic knotting yest but I will. I will have it colored in three colors to for my three boys.

My next one will be the Montgomery family crest. That is a lady holding an anchor in one and and a mans head in the other. Montgomery was my moms maiden name and We are the last in the line. No men were born so I will be the first to get that done in my family. I think my sister and maybe an aunt will follow. I am going to have the mans head look alot like my DH cause he keeps telling his friends that the skull with the knife in it he has on his arm is me. I keep telling them it isn't me cause it has blue eyes...mine are brown....

He also has about 3/4 of his back covered. He has dragons and a castle a wizard an elf and more dragons all over his back. The same guy did most of all our work.

We have a great tat shop in our town. If you ever come to KENTUCKY you will have to check it out!!!

I'm dying to get another tattoo too! I have one now on the inside of my left wrist. It's the chinese symbol for love. My husband and I got it done together for a wedding gift to each other. He has a matching one on his left wrist too. Ahhhhh...I know a little corny but special to us. The next one will be either be a small one on my hand on the fleshy part between thumb and forefinger or at the nape of my neck. My brother has tons and says his next one will be a barcode at the bottom of his neck. I thought that was such a cool idea. No barcode for me, but I like the nape of the neck as a location though.

I have only one and would love to have another!! They are so addictive. Mine is on my lower side to the right. It's not my back and it's not my butt. Not sure what to call it. Mine is of a dolphin jumping infront of a sunset. Lots of people think it's silly that I have a dolphin, but I've had a love for them for as long as I can remember.

My DH has five tatoos. I have always wanted one on the top of my foot. It would be a shooting star with several different size stars that trickle down the foot. Stardust all around the stars. The stars would all be different bold colors and the dust - purple. I have never gotten this tatoo but would love to have it one day. My husbands are all black and each mean something to him. His locations are the side of his neck, back of his neck, upper arm, lower back, and calve. I think tatoos are an expression. I would never get one on my toe. My cousin did that and the moisture in that area keeps it faded. So if it was me I would get one on my foot! Let us know what and where you get it.

I have 5 - my most recent one is a huge shoulder/upper arm piece of a VanGogh painting called Blossoming Almond Tree. Otherwise I have a four leaf clover on my hip, a skull on my big toe, a heart with wings on my wrist and a black tribal heart on the back of my neck. All can be covers fairly easily when necessary. I'm planning to get a really large shark up my ribs soon - once you start, you can't stop!!

I took my little brother to get his first tat 4 months ago and he's already on his second My mom and dad just loooove that....

I'm jealous! I have none! I can't decide what I want to look at the rest of my life...but I have some piercings :o when I get tired of them I can take them out..and no one is the wiser..if you didn't know you would never know that I have any..my secret...:rolleyes:

I want a tat bad too! I gave up a son for adoption when I was 17 and I would like something of him on me....I also would like some cat eyes on my lower back....I am just a big WHIMP though!!!
