Tattoos?

--this is too funny because my husband and i have been watching that show and are starting to get the itch for a tattoo. my husband already has one but i am a tat virgin.
i am surprised to hear that the guys from the tv show arent even in that shop. hmmm. sounds strange.
what i am itching for is a tattoo of a lotus flower on my lower back. i think it will be beautiful. however, my husband says to do it in color will be big bucks.

I watch Miami Ink too btw.
I have 2 tattoos. One is of roses on a vine on my right ankle & the other is on my neck/back. It's not in between my should blades but up a little higher. It's of a butterfly with designs on both sides of it. I'm done with getting tattoos. 2 is enough for me, not to mention they are painful & expensive!
I would suggest a place on your back or front to get a tattoo if you don't want it to be seen all the time. Sometimes I wish I did not get the one on my ankle. I already got turned down from a job b/c of it. (It was a lifeguarding job for the summer) (I pretty much had the job until they found out I had a tattoo that could get covered up. I joked & said I would wear socks or a bandaid.)

They just made it legal here in SC to tattoo. One of the stupid rules is a tattoo shop can't be located near a school & other certain places. There's a few dumb rules they have to follow. I don't think there are any shops opened for business yet here. A tattoo artist got in trouble for tattooing on tv here.(the local news) That same artist also appeared on the "Montel Williams Show" it was about stupid laws.

I also watch those shows! I prefer Miami Ink! I have a shooting star on my pelvic area and a butterfly with design I drew for my lower back. I plan to get a couple more tattoos. Maybe one to memoralize my mother who passed away last year at 42. I love tattoos. I just got color put on the one on my back with pinks and purples like my shooting star.
