So it really will go away on its own? Any idea how long it will take, I am sure hoping it isn't 2 months

For his sake he is just so mopey and I can understand why. If my ear was that fat I wouldn't be to happy about it either. He did give us ear drops to use and he started them right there in the office and I gave them to him again this morning. He is hoping with the use of the Prednisone, Benadryll and the Ketoconazole it will help kick his outbreak/yeast infection faster. I don't like having to give him all these meds but if it is going to help him I am willing to try

My only question is how do you keep him calm and relaxed? The vet said to keep him as calm and relaxed as possible so the Hematoma will go away faster, but he is just so used to following me everywhere when I am home, the only way to keep him doing nothing is to put him in his crate. He doesn't mind it because I have it set up like it were his own little "den" and it's quite comfy, but I hate the idea of crate bounding my baby for as long as 2 months until this thing clears up. Any ideas please throw them at me. TossBranAbi I will search for your thread and see if I can find anything else I can use. Thanks again for all the thoughts and suggestions. PS Believe me surgery is the last thing I want to put him through too, but if it needs to be done we are going to have the bump on his foot removed at the same time too.
