It is getting down to the wire, and I also think hubby is changing his mind and NOT going to join me :(

Stay tough there Jean!! You know you can't make anyone do it..they have to do it themselves and if Al is not ready right now, then he will be one day and he'll join you then. He needs to be ready or he just sets himself up for failure, so just give him time. You know you are ready...I can feel it..you are gonna do fine. I am getting excited for you!! I hit my 4 week mark this afternoon at 3pm...a whole month..can you believe it..it really does not seem like that long. You can do this..you can, you can, you can!! I am okay It was tough at work last night though, but I kept myself busy and only snapped at one staff :eek: She took it well though and I did appologize

I am sure I cleaned the kitchen out of homemade cookies and fruit juices though :eek: (Here comes the weight OMG!! ) but the chef told me he will prep some carrot and celery sticks for me to have on hand for tonight :D I told him to make sure there were tons of them LOL So I am okay, but very very very very tired. Is this normal?

Did we lose Aimee and Jenn?

Good Job!! I am not sure about the tired feeling because during my nicotine w/d period I was also struggling with the side effects of the wellbutrin which was making me so anxious and unable to sleep, so I just don't know. I do know that the ice chips help me keep from eating especially when you have to "work" at getting them through that little opening in the bottle. You hang in there...I am sure thinking about you and sending some hard driven "non-smoker" vibes you way! Did you re-set your quit meter to now track your progress?? I love looking at that thing..it really amazes me. Jenn and Aimee will be back very soon I think...I think they are both determined to do this..it is just so darned HARD!! So very hard. Hang tough there Jean!! djk

I have had a total backslide..

Mentally I am just not able to stop right now:( BUT I am not giving up... I will set a quit date very soon and rejoin you all.. I still peek in, and I gotta give a great big wooooohooooo!! to Deb.. You are doing fabulous! Jean, I will bring up the rear very soon. I am thinking a week from tomorrow, but that puts me at the weekend for the first two days:eek: I love my friends and family too much to put them through that.. Maybe a week from Monday.. I am going to try/do it again very soon, hopefully learn from my mistakes. I bought a brand new patio set last weekend, so now I have a place for my ashtray...:( I decided last night that sitting out there smoking is not a pattern I want to start. We will see... But to the rest of you appicon keep up the good work. Also I have noticed just how crappy smoking really makes me feel after being smoke free for awhile..
