Getting ready to head back to work from my lunch break with Josi and I just wanted to let you all know she has been having a good week! She did worry me a little this morning b/c her gums were paler than usual, but they seem to have darkened since I came home. I know I have to realize that one of these days my fear is going to be reality and I have been very lucky to have all these extra months, but it is still no consolation. I know she is fighting so hard and she will continue till the very end, I just wish there was more I could do other than love and spoil her. We did give her an extra treat last night letting her eat the juicky meat off the prime rib bone. Her daddy had to hold on very tight to it or she would have inhaled the entire bone, which would have been very bad. All in all, she continues to inspire us daily and your continued thoughts and prayers for her and Brian and I keep us going...until next time Josi says wooh-wooh

i know you feel like you want to do more......but you are doing everything you possibly can. just keep loving Josi! i felt the same way...wished i could do more/felt helpless. all i can say is, try not to think of the "reality" to often....I know it's hard...believe me.
but you're really doing great at all this.

I'm so glad that Josi is doing well!! She is so fortunate to have you and Brian in her life. All that you have done and continue to do for her is no doubt why she is still with you today. Of course, her invincible spirit helps! Every precious moment that you have with her is part of the "reality", too - I know sometimes you can't help thinking about what's on down the road...it is SO hard not to, but you ARE doing great, loving Josi, being loved by her, savoring every moment.....these are the most important things now. She is such an inspiration. So glad to hear that she is continuing to do well. And.....even though there's always more we wish we could do, I think all any of us, skin or fur, really want is to be loved. And Josi is not lacking in that department.

It's weekend time and Josi is sure enjoying this one. Unfortunately the weather is not as pretty as last weekend, but she has already had her egg & bacon breakfast and snuggled with her daddy for a mid-morning nap. She is supervising Brian's cleaning routine right now and mommy is going to go do some shopping Her gums have been back to the usual pink since the one day and I know I am beginning to sound redundant, but we continue to count our blessings. Hope you all have a great weekend and I will post again soon...
