Please pray for Josi

Josi had another good day and her walking seems to be getting stronger with everyday...just small baby steps. She can now get around on her own even outside to go to the bathroom, it just scares me at night because the grass is not completely flat and I don't want her to miss a step and fall. The one thing that gets me real nervous is after she gets up and walks around a little (talking five minutes or less) when she sits back down her gums are white. I don't know if this is b/c her platelet level is still extremely low and not expected to fully rise for a few weeks or if she is so weak that her heart isn't pumping well or if a tumor on her heart is causing this. I plan to talk to the cardiologist about this on her visit on Wed. and I'm sure they will know more after the ultrasound, but all in all I am pleased and grateful.

I don't know how I missed this post. I've been reading up on Josi and I want to tell you how very sorry I am that your sweet baby has had to go through so much. Josi is so very strong as you are too. Please know that I will be praying for Josi and for you too. Stay strong sweet girl. You can get through this.

Thank you again and again for your continued boxerworld wishes for Josi. We will ring in a new year with Josi by our side I must say she is NOT enjoying the continous fireworks going off, but we are trying to keep the tv a little louder and she got herself a little bit of champagne...what the heck! As far as the babysitting arrangements go for our wedding, we are still in limbo but I will keep you posted...Happy new year's from Josi & I!!!!!

I am so happy to see she is doing so well, they are so tough. As far as fireworks go, Flash is quite grateful to be inside, Zoe has been begging to go out just so she can bark ( my attack dog, fearless ) and Catalina is not sure what to make of them. Zoe is sleeping blocking he door so she will not miss anything while Catalina and Flash are curled up sleeping.

Ms Josi, enjoy your champagne, I will be enjoying mine soon and I hope you and your family have a great New Year.
