I cannot begin to imagine the pain and anger you must have. I am so confused. I used to work for the Animal Rescue League many, many years ago. We also had a 72 hour hold on all strays. I am just so dumbfounded that this could happen. I can only hope that the police investigate this matter further. I have also contacted the Today show by phone and by email. I hope that they do a story and give some meaning to Boost's death.

Thanks for posting the article. However, I am a bit amazed at how that woman's story changes with every interview. I thought originally, by her statements, that Boost was brought in inside the carrier. Now the statements from the ederly couple is that he was brought in on a leash. The more they interview, the less honest they appear. I hope all your hard work and investigations lead to their immediate dismissal, a fine, and a re-organization of that business. That's the least that should happen. The best thing to happen is....well, wouldn't be very christian to say it.......but euthanizing all that were involved! Eye for an eye......and Boost was one of God's creatures! I hope she is shamed right out of the state!

I agree with PP in that every interview that is done makes this facility seem more and more like liars. I would pursue this all the way to hell and back until that woman no longer has a job and is never allowed near and animal again. Sending stay strong and fight vibes your way.

I thought the lady said they put him down within I want to say minutes of him being brought in? Wasn't it originally something like 10 minutes or something? As I've said there is a special place in he^^ for people like that. I have no compassion for her or the people who helped her get to that position.
The older couple sound so nice and kind. There I believe lies your main objective that he wasn't aggressive. Also, just a thought, get the neighbors to maybe sign some type of document on how he behaved. They have seen him around kids, strangers, etc and can attest that he wasn't the least bit aggressive.

I've been reading all the articles on this and it makes me sick every single time.
So increadibly sorry this happened to you. They would have had to drag me screaming and crying out of that h*** hole when they told me they killed my dog for no reason. And that wouldn't have stopped me from going back...can't imagine the heartache.

Marcus, you and Boost are always in my thoughts. When I recount this story to friends and family, I get so flustered and angry that I can't even speak straight. I don't know how you do it, but I am so proud of you. No doubt Boost is giving you the strength to push through this, to bring him justice and to protect all of the other animals in your area from that animal concentration camp.
