Please Help! The humane Society put my Friends Boxer down!!!!

I agree with PP in that every interview that is done makes this facility seem more and more like liars. I would pursue this all the way to hell and back until that woman no longer has a job and is never allowed near and animal again. Sending stay strong and fight vibes your way.

Not only does this woman need to lose her job; but I also think she deserves jail time for killing innocent animals. People are prosecuted for animal cruelty when fighting dogs or mistreatment (as they certainly should be); so why should killing innocent dogs go unpunished ~ it's equally inhumane. I definitely agree that she needs to lose her job; but I also think that's even a mild punishment to what she really deserves.

Seems the more she talks, the more lies unravel.... Keep on it! I continue to keep you and poor sweet Boost in my thoughts and prayers!

That would be getting off easy if you ask me :mad: OOOHH it just makes my blood boil!! I cannot believe that such a person could be allowed to run an animal facility in the first place!

Just wanted to check in. I keep thinking of you, Marcus and also Boost. I tell everyone I know about your story. I know I'm clear in PA, but hopefully we can all band together and get some much deserved justice.

Ok everyone I have an update. Marcus called me today and the Humane society has for sure put Boost to sleep. His lawyer has got the surveillance videos the day that boost came in. You can clearly see boost walking in with his tail wagging, and then him being led to the back and put to sleep. It is extremely sad, but it does help his case because MS. Reno claimed that Boost was aggressive, which you can clearly see he was not in any way. If his lawyer releases the video, Ill will post it on here. Thanks everyone for all your support. Ill post any updated to the case.

Thanks for the update. That just makes me so mad that the Humane Society could do that to a obviously friendly boxer. :(

There are no words to describe to enraged this makes me. This woman needs to be held accountable and also be made an example of. In my opinion, even jail time isn't enough for her. But I do agree as posted earlier, if it were anyone else, it would be considered animal cruelty, so I think the same should hold true for her also. I've been thinking of Boost a lot. Keeping everyone in my prayers too.

I hope Marcus is doing ok. I definately agree that Reno needs to be out, but from the articles in the paper it seems that the Walker County officials are just as guilty here. They had to be well aware of what was going on, and IMO probably encouraged it. They obviously did not want to "waste" any money on a proper and legal animal shelter, so they let Reno do the dirty work for them (she should have walked away!), and are happy to let her take the heat off of them. If she were smart she would roll on them before they leave her hanging out to dry. Again, just my opinion, but God Bless you Marcus for continuing your efforts; I'm sure Boost is very proud of you.
