Please Help! The humane Society put my Friends Boxer down!!!!

Ok everyone I have an update. Marcus called me today and the Humane society has for sure put Boost to sleep. His lawyer has got the surveillance videos the day that boost came in. You can clearly see boost walking in with his tail wagging, and then him being led to the back and put to sleep. It is extremely sad, but it does help his case because MS. Reno claimed that Boost was aggressive, which you can clearly see he was not in any way. If his lawyer releases the video, Ill will post it on here. Thanks everyone for all your support. Ill post any updated to the case.

The thought of watching that video makes me SICK. It breaks my heart to imagine poor Boost being lead to his death like that. Poor boy just thought he was out having an adventure…and this is the price he paid. Lane Reno makes me cringe. I hope she gets what she deserves.

Thanks for the update. I agree with EAO76. I think of Boost often and get so angry because of what happened to him. But mostly, it breaks my heart.

This story is just so sad and so maddening. It didn't need to happen this way. Agreed that both Reno, all the employees at the shelter and Walker County are all guilty. Poor Boost (and many others) paid the price.

I did receive a nice thank you from Best Friends for a donation in Boost's name. I hope Marcus, if you read this, that whatever new shelter will come to Walker County, know the people at Best Friends can help. They are the "grand daddy" of the no kill shelter movement; their motto is "no more homeless pets".

Rest in peace sweet Boost.

WOW!!! I have just read the whole thread and I really can't believe what I just read!!! I don't even really know how to respond, it's absolutely horrible!!!! I really hope you and Boost get the justice you deserve!!! It has def. opened my eyes for me to watch over my dogs more carefully when they are outside!

He was a beautiful boxer with a very special personality. Marcus does want to get another boxer one day when this all over, but is just worried that another one can't fill the shoes so to speak of boost because he was such a great dog...

Against my better judgement I watched the videos. And now all I want to do is drive to walker county and do some serious damage to that place. I don't have any words right now....this is just all incredibly sad. My heart aches for Marcus.........and his beloved Boost.

I wonder how they will talk their way out of this? They said he was agressive, how do they explain the video?? It makes me angry beyond words. Has anyone heard from that b**** at the shelter? Has she made any statements since the videos were released?

This is seriously disgusting. I have not words. Lane Reno is a liar & it’s unbelievable that she has the audacity to still be in that position.

Ty Ty what is the current status of the lawsuit? Is there any new news? I have been check the FB page & no one has updated anything in a while.
