My heart is breaking for you right now!! I know what you are going through, I lost my girl to kidney failure. She was diagnosed at 4 1/2 yrs and we kept her going for 18 months. Shortly after she was diagnosed she also became anemic and we had to give her injections and get blood work done on a weekly basis. I changed her food to a low protien, however as cami said there is more belief that a high protien diet is what they need. Personally I would switch to a raw diet. Dakota had in IV flush for about 3 days and that cleaned her up and gave her about 6 months. I so know what your going through, we did everything we could for Dakota until her quality of life wasn't there and then we sent her to the bridge. The one blessing of kidney failure is that its not painful, they just are really tired and can tend to feel nauseated and not right. My thoughts are with you and please give Ozzy a big hug and kiss from all of us.
