Oh My God!! Its CCCCCOLD!!!

Just think, today is the shortest day of the year and the first day of winter. To think that winter has only officially started. I'm sure it's not much consolation, but my sister lives in Cold lake Alberta and there it goes down to minus 50 degrees C. and that's without any windchill.

Now thats COLD!!! Its supposed to rain here tomorrow, what a change in temp.

Colleen...I heard freezing rain? I'm worried because my boys leave at 5am with my brother to drive to Toronto to see their Dad...coming back Boxing Day. I also have a brother leaving Toronto to travel here with his daughter! I pray the weather cooperates for them! I'm gonna be a basket case if there is freezing rain!! Today is mild though isn't it...so strange but I'm not complaining! :D

Well isn't it beautiful this morning!! rain and freezing rain, I can't even see out of my windows! and of course if garbage day and the plow has come by and taken most peoples garbage with them "don't get me started on garbage men" here anyways. Well I guess its the snowblower for DH and I'm going to clean off my birdfeeder so the birds can find their seed The snow is heavy out there so shovel wisely!!

Yeah nice and wet :|.....Im probably gonna be late for work because the busses are late. The dogs arent liking it either. At least its not freezing out..actually fairly mild. I really want it to snow tomorrow and christmas though....not lots.. just enough to say it snowed.. it would be nice.

Everyone whos experiencing this (apparently its all the way down in texas..i didnt know it snowed there) be carefukl!

Okay, how wacky is our planet? A few days ago it was -40, too cold to snow. Yesterday we got so much snow we couldn't get the car into the driveway (and the poor dogs, they can barely walk around in the yard because the snow is as deep as their legs are long.) Tomorrow it's back down to -20. And now get this, by Thursday it's supposed to be 10 degrees above zero! That's almost warm enough to go without a jacket! What wacky weather! Have we screwed up our planet or what? I am so going to campaign for an electric car when our current car bites the dust!

Oh its sooo cooold here today! -38 last nite, the house was cracking and banging all nite and now today -35 with the wind chill. Tried to take the dogs for a walk yesterday and Ryker started holding his feet up,,,,, come on spring.

oh man today its is coooold! its -41 here with the windchill :'(. I didnt go to schoo because its so cold. also didnt go to work because of the cold... and im sick. But i have chronic bronchitis and asthma...and this dry cold will not help me.

A couple days ago it was -42 (-51 with windchill). Today we wake up to +1 what is up with this weather? Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love it today - but this is crazy from -42 to 1 in less than 48 hours. Kirra finally got to go out for a walk this morning after about 3 weeks of extreme cold. She must have sensed it was warmer cause this morning she was like this little wild child running around the house. I sincerely cannot wait until summer - if I was brave enough I'd move to a warmer place, but then all my family is here in Western Canada - sigh, so it looks like I'm here to stay...forever

Oh yes -43 with windchill this morning!! It's "warmed up" to -35 and should stay like that all day!
Take about temperature differences it was raining and +8 here last week! Stay warm !
