Goodness here i am complaining about out weather....... thinking it's bad at -2 degrees C and snowing!!!!! which is nothing in comparison!!!!

WOW...it has been a cold day! -41 taking my daughter to the bus stop! :eek:
Shanz...I feel for you too with the asthma. My daughter (4) suffers too. :( Today I called the school transportation dept. and had her bus stop moved to the TOP of our street! DD would be soooo bronchical HALF way there and always asks to be carried! Now it's 2 minutes away!
I also heard that the last 2 weeks of Jan. and 1st 2 weeks of Feb. will be the coldest! C'mon Spring...we need to thaw already!

Missing my 86 degrees in the shade
Oh gosh... I was sooo cold this morning!!! Just to run from the parking lot to the building resulted in my nose being numb! The cold weather alert was to be lifted this afternoon but it was extended to tomorrow afternoon...

finally! Some relief form the cold. Yesterday and the day before was beautiful! It was srping time weather..very nice out. Unfortunately, i had to work so i couldnt take the beasties out on a walk to enjoy it :'(.
Today was fairly nice out...but friday it will be 0 degrees again...cant wait

We reached a whopping +9 degrees celcius here in Edmonton today! The snow is melting and it feels like spring. Yeaaahhhhh!!! That old man winter is a nasty beggar though. It could easily be -40 by tomorrow. To think that I chose to move back up north from Arizona. Talk about a crazy canuck, eh?
Just remember that things could always be worse. Last winter we lived in Saskatchewan, and it got down to -67 celcius with windchill. We didn't see temperatures above -40 (without windchill) for about 2-3 weeks. Brrrr. Alberta is almost balmy in comparison!

Just remember that things could always be worse. Last winter we lived in Saskatchewan, and it got down to -67 celcius with windchill. We didn't see temperatures above -40 (without windchill) for about 2-3 weeks. Brrrr. Alberta is almost balmy in comparison!
