Minx at the vet..I am afraid.

Just came back from the vet, he did another x-ray and saw in Minxie's stomach that there was barium left. It should have moved out by now it has been 24 hours, and he also saw a "bubble" like outline in her stomach, which may be a tumor or something has lodged in her stomach and encased (jerky treat?) He is going to do exploratory surgery on her tomorrow, he is a hands on kind of doctor, and prefers to go in rather than send us for an ultrasound only to have the radiologist tell us that they found something and send us back to him. If the "bubble" does turn out to be a tumor it is in an area that it can be removed, which is good news. I just have to hold on until tomorrow. The kids know that Minxie is sick, but they don't know the whole of it. Mommy puts her brave face on Please keep those Boxerworld prayers coming for us....
