Well, so far nothing too positive has happened. I went back up to her next door neighbors the other day to give them my phone number. They have agreed to give me a call the next time they see him outside, and hopefully I will make it there in time to have a talk with this lady. The conversation would pretty much consist of "Thank you for giving me what I want, and have a nice life!"
. So far no one has called me yet. But they did say that every day that I go and knock on this ladie's door (and she doesn't answer) that after I leave she walks the whold perimeter of her yard!
I also went to the SPCA to get copies of his rabies vac. and registration with the county, since I am trying to gather all of his paper work. I am trying so hard to go about this the right way, because the last thing I need is a harassment charge from this lady.......and I really don't feel like having to deal with her any longer than what I have to. I also asked the SPCA if they could help me out any, and the one in my county pretty much said there wasn't anything that they could do. I am not sure if that is because they aren't an ASPCA or what. But, I plan to call the ASPCA in the next county over tomorrow. And the whold thing with the police really gets me...an officer that I spoke with the night prior to me going to this ladies house said that they would send an officer when I needed him. But when I called for one that officer said no....I just wish that they would get their stories straight! I am guessing that the longest this would take is 3 months to go to court......or I may just get impatient and go take him back
