I went back and reread all the posts and now I remember what you said. I have not had alot of time on the computer lately, with my mom being sick. I am just so glad that you got him back and that woman is far from you and him. I am sorry if I got confused. I do that alot lately! Ha! Just enjoy having your boy home.

Glad champ is back and I hope you get a good lawsuit going against this evil person. You should report to her superious at the Human Society because if she does stuff like this, she should never work with dogs again.

Congratulations on getting Champ back!!! we have been reading the posts here in oz with xed paws! as this lady bred champ was she a registered breeder or selling the puppies as unregistered???

Surely if she is registered you could go to the body that she is registered with & lodge a complaint to get her deregistered? after all not only did she steal champ to breed him in the first place but also if he has hip displacia she wasnt breeding responsibly as that is something we are trying to breed out not back into the breed!also you could hit her up for a stud fee, avg price here is around $1600.00-$3000.00 & you as the bitch owner have to pay for upkeep at the same time!

another thing i thought of is what is your local paper in md like?? perhaps they could publish your whole story for you, that way other boxer owners in town would be aware of her tricks & potential puppy buyers will also be aware... i know you probably couldnt publish her name but a few photos of champ perhaps one of his hostage home..it might just jostle enough!

Rachel... I just found your thread and let me say I am so glad you got Champ back! I'll bet he was thrilled to be back with his mommy. I absoulutly cannot believe the nerve of this woman. I would take her to court in a heart beat... she cannot make you pay a monthly fee cause she STOLE your dog. And emotional pain, lost time from work, suffering, ect... I also really liked the idea about having the local paper do an article about her. Others need to know what kind of person she is expecially if she is still breeding and selling pups. And I think you said she works for a shelter? How horrid, I can't imagine being her boss and wanting someone like that working for me. I know you probably want to put it all behind you but this woman really needs to get what is coming to her!!!!! I am really worked up about her. I want to.... rrrrrrrrrr better not say. I am so glad he is back safe and sound and where he belongs. I hope this finds you guys happy, well, and settleing back into your routine... Best Wishes!!!!
