I have been checking this thread daily (sometimes two or three times a day!) to see if there are any updates!! I am so happy to hear that Bea is fitting into your family so nicely. It sounds like all the other animals are taking care of the new baby!!

Miss Bea is so lucky to have you in her life! Fingers crossed for a cancellation this week. Hang in there little girl!! She's a tough one, isn't she?

It doesn't look like we are getting the surgery done this week :( So now we wait for Monday when she has a set appointment. I know I am going to be nervous all weekend over this. I need to get her a collar and leash. She was using one of Mia's many spare's but Mia is so chunky & squat the fit is not quite right.

Bea herself is doing fine. She is becoming a frog hunter extraordinare! You should see her do the army crawl and try to sneak up on one. It is the most awkward crawl I have ever seen because of her bum hip, but it is cute for sure! She has this high pitched yip of a bark and turns her head so far around trying to comprehend what it is she is seeing. Rocky will come running thinking she has found something exciting, then see what it is and look at her as if to say, "Haven't you ever seen a frog? They are fun to play with, but taste really bad!". I am falling in love with this girl, she is still sleeping inside the kennel and doing so well with her potty training. I will try to get some pictures of her & post. Thank you guys for caring about our new stinky girl! :p

Thanks for the update. You know, everything happens for a reason. Sometimes, it just seems so hard and round-about. I love to read about Bea and her continuing remarkable recovery. Take it as easy as possible this weekend and try not to stress.
p.s. Rocky, you are doing a great job watching over and teaching you new baby sister.

So glad to hear the update and that she's just loving life!! We're praying that her surgery goes well (and that mama does well mentally/emotionally!). Brewster and Adrienne send lots of wiggles!

Dora~ I would have done the excat same thing!!!! I hope that all goes well for her! I think that you may fall for her and keep her yourself, you know I truly believe that everything happens for a reason! And I KNOW that it was meant to be that you came across this sweet baby that needed you!
