Here I go again (long)

The vet says Bea is looking good and that it will take a while before she will feel comfortable enough to put weight on her hip as it heals. She thinks Bea is walking fine considering she was hit by a car 7 weeks ago and has gone through 2 surgeries. I guess I need to learn some patience! :rolleyes: Her eye has healed very well also, she still tears up so that is good.

Bea is getting goofier by the day. She spent most of the morning foaming at the mouth & throwing up because she decided to lick one of the frogs that live in the back yard! :eek: The vet laughed and said that Bea is a normal puppy and will learn to avoid flipping frogs in her mouth. I will get some pictures posted tomorrow I promise!

Last post, thank you for all the good vibes!

I just posted some pics in my gallery of Bea and I think this will be the last post in this thread for me. I look forward to her full recovery and nothing but good times for Bea. She is amazing to me and I can't help but wonder how in the heck she was on the streets. I am convinced she got away from someone. She has no fear here and never tries to run away on her lead or not. My whole family has adjusted so well with Bea, it is hard to remember life before her. My hubby thinks her knack for unpotting plants got her put out of her last home. She is so ridiculous and will bring the plant to me and put it in my lap! "Here mom, now give me a reward for bringing you your plant and tell daddy to quit putting it in the pot!" :rolleyes:

You guys might think I am crazy for this, but she reminds me of my brother Steve. Steve was murdered 9/11/03 and there are times when I am still amazed that I will never speak to him again. She has the same kind of easygoing attitude he had and something in her eyes when I ask if Steve sent her speaks volumes to me. To put it mildly, She has been with me for 7 weeks now and I am in love. lovicon
I will post a brand new thread when she has her first 4 legged burn!
