Bea came out of surgery at about 1:00. She is doing fine, I just went in to visit her and she looks so drugged right now :( . The hip procedure went as planned, and they feel she will have a quick recovery time since she is so young and there was still a good blood supply to the area as well a minimal nerve damage. Her cherry eye was removed, they could not push it back in as the gland was damaged and they did not feel it would be worth even trying to repair it that way and would eventually need to be removed. So now she stays overnight (this clinic runs an emergency afterhours clinic so she will not be alone). I will be able to pick her up tomorrow. Rocky & Mia have been sniffing everywhere for her. Rocky even carried her metal bowl to the middle of the living room and dropped it right in front of my hubby to let us know it was empty and he does not appreciate that. So now the worst is over and we look to recovery...3-4 weeks of quiet, minimal moving time in the kennel  whoever said this does not know how boxer puppies are!!!! But we will take it one day at a time. I will probably head out in a bit to the PetsMart to pick up a bunch of toys for her convalesence. Oh and she is now sporting a pink collar as befits a cute stinky girl!
