I was going to say the same thing--maybe the vet will work something out with you. And going to the media is a GREAT idea. Not only will you probably get financial help, but that precious little girl's mommy might be looking for her!
Dora--God bless you. I am sitting here with tears in my eyes. You have a heart of gold--you remind me so much of my mom (she passed away 6 years ago). Just like you, she always seemed to be in the right place when an animal needed help. I can't count the number of animals she rescued. I really think God puts people like you and my mom here for a reason.
Please keep us updated on that precious little girl. She is beautiful and you saved that sweet soul. Also--if you contact the media and they do a story, please post links so we can follow it!
