Thats a great thing to do, maybe you could work something out with the vet for the surgery since you did rescue her, or find a vet that will work something out with you. You could also contact the media and let them know the story and maybe do donations for the surgery...you're not the only sucker for a sweet face out there. Also the suggestion to contact local boxer rescue maybe a good alterative.

I was going to say the same thing--maybe the vet will work something out with you. And going to the media is a GREAT idea. Not only will you probably get financial help, but that precious little girl's mommy might be looking for her!

Dora--God bless you. I am sitting here with tears in my eyes. You have a heart of gold--you remind me so much of my mom (she passed away 6 years ago). Just like you, she always seemed to be in the right place when an animal needed help. I can't count the number of animals she rescued. I really think God puts people like you and my mom here for a reason.

Please keep us updated on that precious little girl. She is beautiful and you saved that sweet soul. Also--if you contact the media and they do a story, please post links so we can follow it!

God bless you for what you have done Chula included (I followed her story all the way) Just my 2 cents but I think contacting the media for help would be a wonderful Idea. Her family might be looking for her. If not there are others out there who would help I'm sure.

Thank you so much Mama Zookeeper, Bea has found an in you. This story and the adorable pictures of that little injured girl brought tears to my eyes (yes, just as I am getting ready to go to work! I should know better, BW has me in tears quite often!).

I think you should see with the vet and the media as well, as others have suggested. But no matter what you do, you are amazing for caring so much about all animals and taking them under your wing when they are in need. Thank you
