And I would feel bad taking him somewhere and leaving him too..but remember, you're doing it because you love him and want the best for him. Good News

Well I just got a call from the vets office, sabastians chest looks fine they said, so looks like no problems with his heart. But they are gona wait till 4:00pm to do his blood work so it's fresher for when the lab person at the (people) hospital comes to pick up blood work. The vet has no idea yet what that mass is in his abdominal area, so their waiting for 4 to come around and do the blood work and see what comes back for that and go from there. He will be staying over night but they said he is doing fine and seems happy. They'll let me know as soon as they know what the results are and when and if they need to open him up to see what the mass is. So I will probably know tomorrow for sure and I'll let ya all know......Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bye the way he did not have to be sedated for the x-rays.

Thats great!!! At least that's one thing you know longer hafta to worry about. I will be thinking about him tomorrow and he will be in my thoughts and prayers!!!!

Sad News

Hi all, just wanted to update you on sabastian. Well things didn't go so well as we were hoping. The vet opened him up and the Tumor had overtaken his body. It destroyed one Kidney and had the other about destroyed. The Tumor and a main artery was about to explode. Anyway there was nothing else the vet could do, there was no way of removing the tumor. If he had sewn him back up and let him come home the tumor woulda exploded and he'd been in severe pain and nothing could be done to save him. So to avoid the pain he was experiencing and woulda experienced we went ahead and had him euthanized. Bringing him home woulda only been for our advantage, in the mean time he woulda been suffering. I feel so bad and it's very lonely around here without him. But I know he is in heaven giving Jesus lots of slobbery kisses and watching over us. Thank You all for being here during this time, I really appreciate it. Give Your baby's hugs from us all. God Bless You All !!!!!

I'm so sorry to hear that you lost Sabastian. I know this is a difficult time for you, but I hope it gives you some measure of comfort to know that you did as much as could for him and saw him through to the end. Having to let them go is the hardest part of having a pet, but remember that he'll always be with you in your heart!

Oh my heavens! I'm so very very sorry to hear that Sebastian has gone. :(

The words aren't there to take away the pain, but I believe it's a blessing that Sebastian passed before having to endure any suffering.

You made the hard choice, one that we all dread and one that requires us to put our own selfish wants and needs aside and do what's right for one we love.

Oh my goodness! I just recently started following this thread. I am so sorry for your loss. I do not have the words to convey to to you. For all the babies we have lost, there is a loving Boxer at the Bridge just waiting for Sebastian. This Boxer will show him that all is not lost and that good things come to those who love. Which you have.

Run free with no pain sweet boy. I am so very sorry you had to leave us so suddenly. PLease watch over your family and help them know that what they did for you...they did because they loved you so very much. When you get to the bridge, please be watching for the big handsome fellow named Goliath...he will be your buddy and help you begin your new life. Godspeed Bastian! djk
