Falko is a copy-cat. He has a squeaky newspaper, I will step on it to make it squeak, then he will paw it to make it squeak and then look at me like "it's your turn". We will do this for several times before he picks it up and runs off with it. I love him to pieces!

Brutis consently sighs, especially after he lays down. I like to joke with Annie that when she is talking about something girlly he does it mor often!

My Rocco seems very similar.
-Gas (oh my!!!!!!!!!)
-Snoring (sometimes he snores so loud we have to wake him because we can't sleep
-Kidney Bean ( if that is when he is so excited he is wiggling and like bends his body )
-Woo Woo song
-using us as a napkin
-sighing when he's board
-cleaning himself all the time

Wow I thought that was just Rocco

That's so funny, Cloey sighs too all the time... like she is bored... it's so funny... she also snores like crazy and rests her head on the pillow when she sleeps. She also makes a U shape sometimes when she is excited to see us (sounds like Rocco's kidney bean).

Its funny my baby was sleeping at my feet while i was working on the computer and i kept looking around for poop....and then i read this thread and it said boxers fart...all this time i've been thinking they've been covertly pooping and its him farting! =)

Also, what about staring? Mushka sits there and stares at me like he's human (or at leasts a hormonal teenager) and we're having a conversation. Its sooooo weird, i can just imagine the dailogue going on in his head which usually ends with a hefty sigh, umph, or scratchy vocal "waaaaaaaaah"....which i take to mean "you'll never understand mom"

sitting like a human on the sofa

She knows that she is not allowed on the sofa but does she try !!!!
She would come around and but her backside on the sofa, her hind legs are just off the floor with her front legs touching the floor. If we were to try it I think it would be very difficult. I do not know if she is comfortable.
Another thing that she does is when my husband is having his siesta (afternoon nap - only at weekends I have to say) she pushes his feet so that he will wiggly them, she takes this as a signal that he wants to play, the more he pushes her away the harder she plays, sometimes biting his toes. She will then leap on to his legs and box with his feet. Very funny to watch !!!!

Camy my puppy

Camy does the same thing as all the other boxers, but she has a sock fettish.. Ohh my gosh.. she takes our socks and runs like we are chasing her.. or she does it to get our attention..

I don't understand it.

first time Boxer owner myself

I love the snuggling all night long, and the side-winding. That is one of his nicknames, side-winder. I guess it's what everyone else calls "kidneybean". He does the snorting, the running fits for no apparent reason. I haven't quite experienced the gas factor yet though. I guess I have something to look forward to.

sophie loves to hide under the bed and eat a sock or two she has snatched... maybe a dryer sheet if she is realllllllly lucky... well, she has basically all the 'boxer' traits listed and she is a blast to have living with us!!

We have picked out our new male puppy, but he isn't old enough to come home yet. I'm reading all the cute things boxers are known for, but we never owned one, so....
What is the kidney bean thing?
What are flea bites?
I'm so curious to hear the answers.
