Boxer Traits

OK, I am on my 6th Boxer. I am familiar with their traits. Now, to illustrate my lack of comprehension, what the heck is kidney beaning?

Background info. My present Boxer is a 2 month old, named Liberty, Libby for short. Fawn with black mask and boots. Not much flash. She has been adopted by our German Shephard, Ginger. They make a nice pair. Libby loves to pick on that long tail.

Maggie has all the traits listed for Copper, minus the gas and the kidney beaning. Lucky for me.

Maggie - flashy fawn, born 4/2000, natural ears, part human.

My 2 year old Haylee has many of the same traits you've all mentioned.

heavy sighs
jumping in front of me so I'll play with her
jumping straight in the air
she stretches her front legs with her butt in the air
woo woo sounds
tries to catch a tail she doesn't have
loves to cuddle
very loving and loyal
extremely energetic
she demands attention

These are just some there are so many!!!
No matter what I would not trade her for the world. I think that all these traits make the boxer who they are. The best dogs in the world!!:p :D

Jerry the doggy snowplow adventure continues!

If you remember Jerry was enjoying the snowplowing in doggy poop, and having showers with Mummy every time he did it
* yuk* which he nor I enjoyed very much. Anyways the misadventures of Jerry have caught up with him once again. Not only did he plow through poop again but got a sliver of wood or some other foreign object lodged in his chest. He was sooking for Mummy while I was at work Hubby said and when I came home his chest was all red and swollen. So with an anti-biotic and some soaking in peroxide each night he won't be snowplowing anymore for a while. We have found another trail to walk in that isn't full of other doggy poop. ( I'm gonna hand out pooper scoopers)
Poor Jerry! Lets see ....he is almost 3yrs old, has had a broken leg ( the same time as Daddy), broke the tail cartilage by wagging it and it hit the side of the house. He has had numerous ear infections, and gets allergy baths every week for his paws and mouth. * Sigh* Is he worth it???? YOU BETCHA!! I wouldn't have missed a minute of his life. Although some of it I could have done without..heheheh. And probably been a whole lot richer..But what a boy!! I wouldn't have anything to talk or laugh about if it weren't for my flatulance, wooing, snowplowing boy!

Rudy has all of the same traits as mentioned before......woo woo song, kidney beaning, laying on back....

He also snores really, really loudly! I can't count how many times he has woken us up! It is so cute! Other times, while he is sleeping, he will bark or run :)

Another thing we can always count on is him stealing the dryer sheet out of the laundry basket! He will play with it for a little while, then run his big figure 8s around the house like he is in a race. So entertaining :)

*Laying on back
*rubbing against couch
*not wanting to walk on wet grass
*backing arse up into you if you are on the floor
*stradling you for kisses before going nite nite right on top of you
*turning circles before finding the perfect spot to lay down
*stubborness
*stinky Butt!!!
* sniffs EVERYTHING!
*giving 5/shake (havent known a boxer that doesnt do this)
*pawing at things like a cat
*knows what it means when Momma picks up the leash-BYE BYE!!

:D :D :D

Let's see.. Memphis sleeps on her back, sighes very heavily when bored, boxer woo woo song, boxes when she plays, chases her non existent tail, kidney beans and gets down on both front legs with butt in air when she wants to play. I am quite sure I forgetting something.
