hey hey boxer fans :o)


I'd say chasing flies and snapping at them is definetly one of them! Then there's: nibbling shirt sleeves, licking everything in sight (incl. floor), snoring, snorting, drooling bubbles, the Woo Woo song, hiccuping, looking extremely guilty :rolleyes: knocking over things, getting in the way, being da cutest l'il puppers alive :o) Chow everyone, enjoy ure babies!

My Little guy Piper loves to zip around the back yard for no reason, he'll just run around like if someone was chasing him. He like to sit on the couch human style. I was also wondering what does everyone mean by kidney beaning, and the Boxer Woo Woo song??

My Lady does everything you have mentioned. I've also noticed that she doesn't run, she jumps like a rabbit. If you scratch her on her neck in the right spot she thumps her feet like a rabbit to. I think maybe we should have named her Thumper.

She always lies on her stomach with her hind legs streched out behind her (it looks uncomfortable!). When she's playful she rolls around on her back with her legs up in the air.

Have you ever seen the boxer's confused look? When they tilt the head to one side- as if they are trying to figure out what you are doing. Hilarious!

You gotta love them!

Oh- and she also hunts cockroaches! She doesn't eat them, but she chews them up and then spits them out! Yuck :rolleyes:

Whoops, missed some: does your Boxer ever nibble your sleeves when he wants attention? Mine has extremely small teeth so it doesn't hurt much, but it's very violent LOL The more we laugh the more motivated he seems to get *hehe* :D My dog also eats flowers... and he buries his head in his bed when he sleeps, it's extremely cute. Let's not forget the tongue either, it's half way out when he sleeps!!! :p

Kidney Beaning

One of the coolest traits, when excited they turn head to tail, like they're a "kidney bean"! I was so excited the first time our Mickey did it, that means he really is a boxer!!!:D Not that there was ever a question, but it is a very cool thing that they do.

birthdayic Happy Birthday to our Otis! He will be 1 yr on 20oct01!

His traits are:

flinging his toys AND our cat Milo around the house...don't worry they are only playing...Otis will grab Milos tail and pull him from the kitchen to the living room! Funniest thing you ever saw! Funnier thing is that the cat starts it all the time by pouncing on Otis.

hugs- while I am sitting indian style on the floor he will come up to me and put his paws on my legs and put his chest up to mine and nibble on my ears and then gives me a half kiss...meaning the toungue comes out half way and curled...its so cute!

laying on his back...paws up in the air!

cutest thing is when I open the window in the car and he sticks his head out...his cheeks go flying in the wind...

cat-like motions with his paws.

loves to drink out of the spray bottle or garden hose.

puppy dreams! They are so adorable! Yes, Otis talks in his sleep!

and I almost forgot the gas!

Just one more thing, boxers are the most loveable breed!

More Traits

This may have already been stated. Our 1 1/2 year old boxer named Chloe likes to put her toys (beanie baby clones, tennis balls, etc.) under blankets, comforters, or throws and then chew on them. It is like it is a completely different toy if it is under something.
