    Help A Bat!

Since you don't have an attic you might look in the basement. The last place I lived I had bats and the little dears had decided to make my basement their home. I have no idea how they had gotten in but I regularly had to put them outside. It wasn't much fun sleeping with an insect net next...

    Running laps.

This morning I did not feel well so I did not take Maggie out for our usual game of morning ball. When I looked outside to check on her, I found her running laps in the yard. She had her "happy ears" on and she was just tearing up the yard running at top speed! I am so glad I bought this...

    Keep dog calm after Spay

Maggie was spayed about three weeks ago. When I took her in to have her stitches removed I took the vet to task on "keeping the dog from jumping". He laughed and said that boxers were definately a different sort of dog and that the staff would kind of laugh when they tell boxer owners to "keep...

how many episodes a day before I worry?

I am so glad to have found this discussion. Maggie has been having head tremors the last few days. I had her to the vet and he did her blood work - all normal. He doesn't seem to be concerned, but he has asked my to document everything that occurs before the tremors occur. After reading...

    My boxer swallowed what?!

Maggie's boxer buddy Mickey tried to eat her mom's cell phone this weekend. The phone rang and she told her skin daughter, Vicky, to get the phone. Vicky reported to mom that the phone kept moving. (At this point in the story I was ready to hear that Mickey had swallowed the phone) Nope...

    where do you kiss ...

I love to kiss Maggie on the top of the head (very soft fur there) and on the muzzle when she lets me. Sometimes it becomes a game to see how fast I can kiss her and not get slipped the tongue!!!

I don't think Bodie is coming home!

I was worried when I saw this thread as well! I am so glad that Bodie is having a good time at the grandparents farm. What an adventure! I guess our boxers need a vacation from time to time too. Maggie loves to hang out with her boxer buddies so much I think she would rather be with them...

Who cuddles with thier babies in bed?

I love to snuggle with Maggie at night and in the morning. It hurts my feelers when she choses to start the night under the bed instead of cuddling with me. I feel much better when she gets in bed in the middle of the night. I don't sleep well without her!

    Boxers = Ugliest Dog Ever!

I have always thought my boxers were the most beautiful dogs ever. However I realize some people are not smart enough to appreciate the wonderful qualities that make up our boxer buddies.

    Does your boxer sleep in?

Maggie would sleep in until noon if I would let her. Thank heavens I don't have to be up early to go to work. I have to spend about 30 minutes talking to her and moving around before she rolls out of bed at 8:30!

    Eating Fire Flys

I don't remember my other boxers doing this but......Maggie loves to chase and EAT fire flys when we go out to potty at night. It is too funny to watch her jump and chase the bugs but she actually EATS them! Her tongue actually starts to glow! Is this bad for her? Will her butt start to...

    Hi

Hi, I am the proud caretaker of a beautiful brindle baby named Maggie. She is 15 weeks old and ready for any trouble that might be lurking. We are lucky that we have boxer buddies next door for her to play with - Rocky, Adrian, and Mickey are good about teaching manners too. Three doors down...
