Why'd you name your boxer that?

I named my boxer Piper after the airplane manufacturer! I love flying!!

We were inspired by the movie Sid & Nancy and named him Rockhead, also, he has a sort of cone shaped head, looks like a rock in his head.

My boyfriend's Italian, and a very proud one at that, so I wanted to give her a little italian name, but not too Italian... And I thought Bella was cute, BEAUTIFUL! :o) We were thinkin' Abbie for a while because we'd read that it's best to give your dog a name ending in "ie" or "y" because you wind up shortening a name to a "ie" or "y" and then they have 2 names and it confuses them. But Abbie just didn't fit her.. Then he wanted to name her Rudy... like from the cosby show, I said no, it sounded like a boy name haha... SO we went back to BELLA!

Eve

We got the name Eve from Evander Holifield. My dad passed just before we got her and his favorite boxer was Evander. Seeing she is female we cut it down to Eve.

Our baby girl is Teagan. My husband is at grad school at Notre Dame (the Fightin' Irish) so we wanted to choose an Irish name. When I found Teagan it seemed perfect because it means "good-looking or beautiful" which of course she is!

Well, my husband and I are fenatics about most anything with a least two wheels and an engine and at the time we were racing cars so I wanted something that had to do with our love of cars but didn't sound too dorky so we came up with TURBO.

We rescued Fletcher and couldn't agree on name for days. I started calling him Fletcher because that's the name of the street he was found wandering on. It just stuck and we love it!!!

my brand spankin new pup is Xander. As some of you know i had to put down Nikita. She meant the world to me. But my co-workers mean a lot to me, and they named him...pictures to come.

I picked Coco because her brindle coloring is a beautiful cocoa color. Every body says it fits her well because she looks like a cocoa bean!!

Well, our new soon to arrive little guy will be named 'Kalel'. Which is Superman's birth name! I've alway's been into the whole Superman thing, and I think it suits a strong, male boxer great!
