Why you named your Boxers what you did?

Female Boxer...what else could she be named?

I named my precious Laila because she is a female boxer. ...get it? (Laila Ali) But of course, like everyone else, she gets called whatever comes out: Sweetie, Mama, Crazy Maniac, OMG you SMELL BADDDD ....which reminds me, I was going to post a question about gas. But, I read another forum that touched on it. I have been feeding Laila Nutro Natural Choice - and she really likes it. But, for the past 2 nights her gas has been killing me. I can't take it. So I am going to try something else.
I was thinking about Natural Balance. (I can't take the smell of Wellness, plus it is not sold in a store close to my house.) Any thoughts?

Dutchess Dalen Teresa (Registered Name)

Well, my baby got her name this way: Her father's name is Duke, so she gets Dutchess, and the Dalen is for our favorite NASCAR driver Dale Earnhardt,Jr. and the Teresa is for the late Dale Earnhardt's wife...my aren't I just the nauseating NASCAR fan?? (NASCAR, How bad have you got it?) We call her Dalen and everyone just loves it... lovicon

When we got Joe, we wanted to give him a regal German name... he just didn't look the part with his big feet, floppy ears, and hang-dog face. We came up with Joe (as in Joe boxer). It fit! Everyone agrees he looks like a Joe.

i named my pup diesel cuz it fit's the build. and it makes people thinks he's all big and bad even know he's just a baby.

Lola....

I named my boxer Lola, it fits her!! The name reminds me of one of my Nana's friends who is so flashy and stuck up! I think it fits my boxer to a T! Some days she just thinks she is the most beautiful thing in the world, but to me she is.

I liked the spanish names so I stuck with them in naming my other dogs.. Inez & Concha... Cocker Spaniel mix girls.

When Ping was born he had a white "swoosh" on back of his neck... someone said it looked like a Nike swoosh but it more resembled a "Ping" swoosh - the golf equipement Ping.. we started calling him Ping more so as a joke until we figured out what we wanted to name him [this was before we took him home-we picked him out when he was 2 days old and visited him several times a week until he was old enough to come home] anyway.. he started coming to the name Ping, so it stuck.. he loves his name and his nicknames "Ping-a-ling","Ping-Pong"ooh yeah, then theres my hubbies name for him...."Pimp Daddy Ping" Unfortunately he lost his "Ping swoosh" by the time he was 3 months old !!

I thought whats a better name for a Boxer than Knuckles or dukes but I thought there were too many Dukes already so I decided on Knuckles. You can't tell me that isn't just the most precious name for a Boxer.
