Where would you live?

If money was no object then i would love to live either in Jackson Hole Wyoming or move back to Alaska just outside of the Fairbanks area.I have always lived where there is snow so that is not a issue for me

I love the four seasons! Although I wouldn't mind if winter was shortened a little (mind you we hardly had a winter this year). I think I would stay right where I am, just move where I can get more land or live by the water. If I had to move out of the province, I would love to live in the Maritimes.

Well, honestly, I like where I live. It's a small town located on the TN river. It does have it's drawbacks, for instance, I have to drive 40 miles one way to work everyday, because there aren't many decent jobs in such a small town. But I love being on the lake during the summer!
I also have to agree with GDOGS1 about Jackson Hole. My husband and I worked in Yellowstone Nat'l Park several years ago, and we LOVED it out there. I definitely wouldn't mind going back and perhaps living in either Wyoming or Montana.
Hawaii and Italy both sound really nice too, even though I've never been to either one.
It will have to be somewhere warm because I despise cold weather.

I have to say I love where I live. I definitely wouldn't want to go any further up north and would probably only consider moving a state or 2 down from MA. I like being able to have the 4 seasons.

I live in East Tennessee and have lived here all my life. I really couldn't picture myself anywhere else it is amazing out here. My favorite thing about it is the Smoky Mountains are right in our back yard and it is absolutely breathtaking in the fall! I can't wait for this summer it will be out first with Delilah and Diesel I really hope they will enjoy going up there with us to walk the trails and swim.

I live in west Tennessee and I would have to say I would stay here. I live about ten minutes from Kentucky lake and we are pretty centraly located. I get the perks of living in a small town and only being an hour from large metropolitan areas. Our pace is slow and honestly it's very enjoyable. Thanks for the question it realy made me think about how nice our area is.

live anywhere?!

I'm in Wisconsin now and I think if I could live anywhere it would be northern Honduras. I've been in the slums of tegucigalpa and honduras for mission trips but the northern coast is beautiful and a little bit more stable as far as the economy goes.

This will never happen as the hubby does NOT speak spanish and probably would not like to live out of the US.

If i had to pick US - probably somewhere south - Texas maybe? ...anywhere where there is not snow

Thanks so much for all of your input. It's great to hear how much everyone enjoys their own home and why they appreciate other areas as well.

We love Wisconsin, I particularly enjoy all 4 seasons, but hubby really wants to retire somewhere a bit warmer. So far we are definitely leaning towards Tennessee. If we do that I insist on being on water or having a pool, preferably both.

Always happy to hear other input, we haven't traveled much yet and I know there is much to see and learn about.
