Samson and Hannah live in a 3 bedroom, 2 bath house with a fully fenced back yard that they love to burn around. When we went house-hunting, the back yard was one of the selling points for us (and we didn't even have a dog yet ) Because they get into trouble so quickly, though, we only let them out back when we can supervise them.

Our house has a mix of carpet and hardwood. It took Samson a little while to get used to doing boxer burns on the hardwood floors. When he was three months old, he burned right into our baseboard heater and had to be rushed to the vet for xrays. He ended up just being bruised - nothing broken. Their favorite part of the house is our family room downstairs (maybe because that is where most of the "fun" toys are kept).

We walk them around our housing development for exercise and are trying to help get a dog park put in nearby!!

Dh, me, Roxy, Payton, Ivory, and Reese live in a 900 sq foot apt. It is VERY tiny but we are all happy and cozy. Our whole house is designed around the dogs. We have all our furniture around the edge of the rooms, there is nothing in the center of the room. I actually have a table and the couch touching. We have one couch we dont even use since the table is right there. But hey....gotta have room for my girls don't I? We will have a 1800 sq ft ranch on a lake soon (property pic in gallery).

We bought Isis a house 5 years ago.
4 bedrooms with a big yard and close to parks. She's 150% spoiled; has her own bed but sleeps in ours/hers, on the sofa, top of the stairs and has full run of the house because she is a well-behaved lady.
We adore her!

We live in a 3 bedroom house with a fenched in backyard. There is also an undeveloped area with a deadend dirtroad thru it close to the house. Thats perfect for letting then burn some once in a while.

Deeg lives in a small two-bedroom cottage in the middle of the city. We have a fenced back yard that he has burned a racetrack into our grass. Our property is full of old growth. We have several types of trees, shrubs, lilacs, herbs and flowers that Deeg has a great time running around. Once, I laid down flat on my back and counted 14 different plants and shrubs just in the length of my body...I am 5'7". If it were not for the noise of the traffic and city life, you would never know Deeg lives in the city.

We just bought our first house which enabled us to get Kilbane. It's a cozy 2 story, 2 bedroom with a decent size yard that has a stockade fence. He still isn't allowed to run free with out my watching over him. He gets a tad skittish when either neighbor's dog barks, but is fine when he can see them. LOL. He goes for little walks around the block and we're slowly taking him to parks or my brother's 1 acre back yard to run around with his Akita, Captain. Much like everybody else the toys ARE everywhere, no different than being at a home with little skin kids. :)

Roxie , Maya and Houston live in a 3 bedroom 2 bath colonial farmhouse, they have a huge fenced in back yard that is wooded, we have woods all around us and live in a small development of twenty one houses, it's private and everyone is friendly and knows each other, they have many doggie friends in the neighborhood as well as a 157 acre pond that we dock our boat at, they love to swim and jump off the dock, we also have alot of trails they love to go walking on. We did but this house with them in mind many years ago, great backyard no grass to worry about growin cause it's not gonna, and a great neighborhood for them to grow up in. I know thats sounds silly, but, they come first.

My family, Hubby, Myself, two skin- kids, two fur babies, 1 cat, a turtle, two birds, a betta and a reef tank share a 3 bedroom 974 sq. ft single wide trailer in a park. The dogs have figured out how to tear through the house around, kids(and thier stuff) and all the stuff a family of four might have. We do have a small backyard which is fenced but fast losing any grass and is covered in dog toys. Freya and I walk alot and I throw balls(soft material ones) for her in the house(yes my mother taught me not to:) ) Once a week we go to feed the horses( did I mention I had a horse). Then the dogs can run on eleven and 1/2 acres and believe me they do! We were going to the dog park once a week but Freya got very scared of other dogs because she met a few bullies and so we stopped. We are planning to try a boxer bash in the near future though. We hope to move onto at least an acre of land here in the next year and hopefully a bigger house too. We plan to get another boxer when we do. They are like potato chips- you can't have just one:)

One of the coolest things about animals is that they don't care what you have/don't have. My parents just built an amazing, huge house on 4 acres surrounded by a creek and woods. I love taking Ty to visit, because he gets to run off leash with my parents' dog. Our house is small, but cozy-nothing fancy. It's totally geared around my 3 year old and the fur babies-very lived in. Never once has Ty asked to go live with his grandparents, since their house is nicer lol. He's happy just to be with us, or should I say, on top of us! There's a lot of love in our little home and Ty is cool with that!!
