Macon's Mom

Completely Boxer Crazy
Until a couple months ago, we lived in a 1750 sq. ft, 2 story house in a subdivision. We didn't have a fenced backyard so Macon had to be on a 20 foot tie out. She loved being outsided but really didn't like the tieout. We just moved to Michigan (where we grew up), and now we are renting a small house until we sell the one in Indiana. We were worried about the smaller house being a problem since we have another dog, but they couldn't be happier. This house has a fenced back yard and they absolutely LOVE it!!! I can honestly say that now that she is getting so much exercise, she hasn't gotten into much trouble (ie. the garbage, counter surfing, etc.) Now when they are inside the house, all they do is sleep. Having a fenced yard has made everyone's lives a lot happier!

Boxer Booster
We have a boxer and a pit bull, 9 and 12 months. We rent a small house with a huge yard. The back and front yards are both fenced in separately with a doggy door in the back door (can you say convenient?). The puppies have their own room and they can come in and out of the house as they please. We used to keep them in their kennel during the day when no one was home because the boxer, Enzo (trouble maker he is), loves to drag anything and everything outside and place it in holes that he digs. Now they even get to sleep in the bed so I'd say they have a pretty darn good life. And having two dogs is excellent because they keep each other in shape wrestling in the yard. When we end up buying a house, a big fenced yard is one of my priorities.

Boxer Insane
We have a 4 bedroom 1 story home, about 3400 sq feet. It has a 6 ft privacy fence all around the back. My front is completely landscaped so beautifully, but my back is still pretty bare except for the spare boxer hole dug by Rocky himself! My hubby was thinking about having a pool, but I like the yard space we have. I think we are going to compromise & get a hot tub with a small deck around it. We live 5 houses away from a soccer field, so I regularly take my pups out for a run.
