Mine is young....

But, so far the one that gets on my nerves the most is that Ti wants to sleep all day and then whine and cry all night! Tonight will be our third night so we will see how it goes...but as it is he is asleep right now!!!

Forgot one!

Gilroy has clearly figured out that a movie popped into the VCR means it's not walk time. He comes running when I squat on the floor to mess with a tape, and plants himself in my lap, between me and the VCR, knocking me over half the time. Mind you, this is a 90 pound dog..... He gets this sorrowful look when I try to move him, and slumps into dead weight so it's really hard to do. Do I really get mad? Naw, he's too darned cute!!!!! :D

Max does the farts, the licking, and DEFINATLEY the ball thing, however to me the cute, but annoying thing is this.. Whenever I take Max in the car with me, he sits in the passenger seat. He will sit there and take his right paw and paw at me, waiting for me to hold his hand. I am a smoker and if it takes me 10 minutes to have a cigarette, he will sit there for 10 minutes flinging his paw at me until I hold it. I actually have driven miles holding my dogs hand.

Hey LMS...

...when I take Riley for a ride int he car, he likes to ride ON MY LAP. Which is fine if I'm not driving, but when I am driving he will try to climb into my lap while driving -- very unsafe! I try to fend him off, but then when I stop for a light he jumps back into my lap again. I think we'll have to buy him a seltbelt if this continues -- especially when he gets bigger!

The thing that he does that is kind of annoying, but not too bad, is the way he uses his paws like hands. When he wants attention he swats at me, or at whatever I am doing that's keeping the attention away from him. He's batted me pretty hard more than a few times!

ZAch's most annoying habit happens when he gets in one of those "goofy moods" while eating. He will take a mouth full of kibble, go into the living room and proceed to do a few bucking broncos allowing the kibble to fly from his mouth. Then he stalks each piece and eats it. And for those pieces that went under the couch, the pawing/whining/singing etc begins.

Annoying habit

One of Dempsey's most annoying habits is that he'll
insist on going out just after the family sits down to
eat. If I open the door for him to go out before we sit
down, he doesn't want to go, but as soon as we've finished
saying grace and start to pass the food, then he wants to
go out and starts scratching at the door. So we let him out
and naturally he'll be scratching to come back in long before
dinner is through. At least while he's outside he's not trying
to mooch from the table.

Another annoying habit is the paper eating, especially
paper napkins. He'll eat both used and unused paper napkins.

What can you do? Ya gotta love 'em.

where do I start??

Oh man. I have been laughing my butt off, reading these responses! As much as I love Trevor, his annoying habits are many. The farting is at the top of the list. Sometimes it's funny, like when he looks at his butt afterwards. But for the most part it's gross! Being a shadow can be annoying sometimes too. Like when I'm trying to go downstairs with a huge basket of laundry. I swear one of these days he's going to push me down the stairs! I guess the other one is when he stands on me as I'm trying to watch television on the couch! He doesn't realize he weighs 65 pounds and puts all his weight on my legs! Ouch! :o) Oh well. I will love him no matter what he does!

Annoying Boxer habits...

Zoe eats soap. When I open a new bar, the wrapper must go in a trash bag, out to the dumpster immediately, or the dogs will knock over the trash can and chew on the wrapper. Zoe just goes straight for the soap bar. They both love (loved) bubble bath too.

Crumb Jowl Kissies - big drink of water, then eat some dry kibble, making sure the crumbs stick good, then lay your head in Mom's lap, or on her sleeve. They only do this when I wear black. How do they know???

Murphy's Law of Dogs - your dog will only poop in someone's yard when the home owner is watching. If you are walking at night, the dog will only poop in a well-lighted yard. If there is just one unscooped mess in your own yard, the dog WILL step in it.

Wanting to go for a walk, at 4am, or 5 minutes after returning from one. Zoe's collar hangs on the basement door. She will poke it with her nose when she thinks it's time for a walk.

Butch used to bark once to go out/come in. Neat, simple. Zoe never did figure it out. She stares at me to go out. When she's ready to come back inside, she kicks the storm door. So there's a huge Bang, the house shakes. Oh, Imperative Girl must want to come in...

Little Vera

Well, let's see....Vera has a few little annoying habits, that I have seemed to overlook most of the time because she's so darn cute!!

1. She does the ball under the couch thingy all the time, I swear it must be a Boxer thing because I have never had any other kind of dog do it! clowicon

2. She snorts and sneezes all the time when she gets at all excited. Very messy as you all know, especially if you have glasses to splatter up.

3. She is a HUGE bed hog, she has to lay touching me at ALL times, if I move, she moves. Also, if I am not in bed but Daddy is, and he gets up to use bathroom or something, she has to take his spot. sleepicon

4. She's a begger. Just to me though, she will sit next to my chair and look at me with those sad, puppy-dog eyes. Of course I give in!

5. She has to lean right on you when you are driving. She doesn't do it to me all the time, but to Daddy is another story. It is funny to see her standing on the console between the seats, copping a hellacious lean.
