What is your Boxer afraid of?

Dukie is afraid of going to the vets. Not much else. He dosn't like people except for his people.

Chloe is so far only afraid of Dukie when he growls.

Our Kira who is waiting over the bridge wasn't afraid of baby gates and she sure knocked enough over jumping them!!

Interesting thread. I WISH Titus was afraid of baby gates. He learned quite early the way to free himself from incarceration in the kitchen is to charge the baby gate and instant freedom! He was afraid of my Swiffer Wet Jet when I first used it, now he just sits and watched me mop. He is still afraid of young girls with long hair - doesn't matter what hair color. He was a rescue, so we think he has "issues." He even attacked and bit my niece once. That's when we decided on working with a behaviorist. We think we have worked through that problem. Lady, on the other hand, is a bit hand shy and again, we think it's because of whatever occurred in her past!

That's exactly what Jed is afraid of.......open and shake one near him and he bolts off scared, poor baby :confused:

Trooper barks and growls at the vaccum cleaner and all baby toys that make noise, so I'm not sure if he's scared of them or just tries to make as much noise as they are. He is definitely afraid of loud noises that happen when things fall on the floor His legs are going in all directions trying to get out the way:D Silly boy.

Laila is afraid of toddlers. One day we were walking around our block and the neighbor's little kids were out, about a 2yr old and 4 yr old..... and Laila would not walk past them... we had to walk out in the street just to get past them!

tank is afraid of the waves when they crash really loud. the entrance to our apartment is less than a hundred feet from the atlantic.... so when the weather is bad he doesn't like to get too close to the crashing waves!!!! he'll usually hide behind my legs if we're out for a walk.

also fireworks... we have fireworks every summer that come from the cliffs up the top of our street.... only about six houses away. they are so close and so loud. he hates them!!!!

i dont think i've come accross anything that holly is frightened of, she's more interested!!. She dances, prances and growls at the vaccuum cleaner which is playfullness. I thought she would be scared of the snow clearance (those big road clearers) when it came around a corner one day whilst out walking, i didn't react or say anything and all she wanted to do was wag her "tail" and run after it!!!! she's insane!!

Haley hates the vaccuum cleaner, but...

on the other hand, I have never in my life met a dog that likes vaccuums. They all seem to go insane around them.

Haley is also afraid of Aluminum foil, well, the sound it makes. She also doesn't like it when people are wearing hooded sweatshirts with the hood up. She pretty much hates anything that makes a harsh metallic noise.

In fact he acts like he is not scared of anything most of the time. But dont let him see a balloon he just freaks.

My Max LOVES balloons...he can't wait until you're finished blowing them up, so he can play..he grabs them by the little nub, and will walk around with them in his mouth for HOURS.
Heidi is scared to death of lightning and thunder..poor pup!
