What is your Boxer afraid of?

Micah is afraid of absolutely nothing. This boy will stand up to anything. Hannah was afraid of thunder. She would hide under the bed if I wasn't home or curl up in my lap and shiver if I was.

That's interesting how many of yours are afraid of baby gates! Louie is freaked out by baby gates too! It fell over once, and he went ripping down the stairs to get away from the "scary noise" that it made.

That, and the vacuum cleaner of course.

Anything that makes crashing sounds...

So far the only thing we have found Baron to be afraid of is the kitchen garbage bags when we shake a new one out to put it in the basket.

That and clipping his nails :rolleyes:

Roxy is scared when I open a garbage bag... she takes off. Also, the vacuum & blow dryer - she tries to bite at them & growls the entire time, she likes goes crazy!! My boy (rescue) Bacchus, is afraid of magazines & newspaper. I figure the previous owners hit him with paper. He will take off whenever I pick up the newspaper.

Jingo: Anything that can make a clatter noise, ie. remote controls that fall on the floor or even fall together and clatter. While she doesn't exactly hate her crate, she has a real problem going over the threshhold of it - in or out. We have one baby gate permanently mounted and it swings like a door - when it's open about half way she'll avoid it. I think this all stems from a bad experience with her first crate, it had an overhead door that went up and down like a garage door. It fell on her once. Traumatized the poor thing for life! :(

Milo: Thunder storms. Having advantage applied - can't figure that one out. He starts drooling and everything - acts like he's being led to slaughter. This is the same dog that loves going to the vet and doesn't mind getting shots at all?!?! :rolleyes:

Both are afraid of the evil bath tub!

Jessie is afraid of the broom. If I sweep the kitchen, she will bark at the broom until it comes near her, then run behind the couch...then peek around the corner to find out where it is and repeat the whole thing again.

There is a small lake in the complex we walk by that has a duckhouse. There's a momma duck that is apparently guarding her eggs and is not the least bit afraid of Jessie. I let Jessie get close enough to the duck to look at it and the duck wagged its tail at Jessie as a warning. Jessie instantly took it as a play signal and went nuts running around, barking and sticking her butt in the air with the front of her body down to the ground and wagged her tail to try to get the duck to play with her.

Talk about miscommunication!! hehehe.

She's also afraid of the hair dryer, but loves going to the vet. What a quirky girl.

There isn't really a lot Tango is afraid of but one thing that always makes him cower is plastic bags...(the kind we bring home our groceries in).. I do not know why he is afraid of these but if we rustle one or jiggle it at him he runs into the other room

Memphis too is afraid of the evil plastic bags . She is only afraid of the Vaccum if its off! :rolleyes: When its on she runs around and barks at it and licks it, but as soon as its shut off she will not go near it.....silly girl

I havent really found anything Tank is scared of. The only thing that will scare him is if he's playing or walking through the house and accidently knocks something over that makes noise...BAAAM he takes of and hides, I dont think he's really that scared of hte noise, I think he scared of being in trouble
