Boxer Buddy
Some friends lived next to a golf course, near one of the greens in fact. They named their dog, and consequently would often call for him.. 'Fore'! (Lots of ducking and head covering went on on that green!)

When we got our boxer, a lot of actual boxer names (real and Hollywood) were discussed. Because we knew some of the obvious ones would be - well - used a lot, we simply named him Champ. After all, there are a lot of boxers, but only one Champ :)

Enrique

I looked up Spanish names the other day just for fun since I'll eventually get another male dog and name him something Spanish. I found my next pup's name: Enrique. It means "rules the home." What could be more perfect-especially if my next dog is another boxer!

Boxer Pal
we had a cocker spaniel named "Laker," and that was back when the Lakers were awesome. I've also met a dog named "Diohgee" at the pet clinic.

Wasn't a boxers name but really cool...

My favorite dog name (might be my next boxers name) is Pal-o-mine or Pal for short. A freind of ours named his GSD Palomine. I thought it was pretty cool and fit for a boxer pal.

Snoop is a great name for our guy, because he is soooooo nosey!

Upon reflection, we COULD have named him Hoover...after we saw how he chows!

(Years ago, someone gave me a 20 ft. boat. I named it, "Sir-Thanks-A-Lot.")

My boy is Cortes - after the Spanish conquistador that invaded and conquered the Aztec empire in present-day Mexico. The Aztec's thought he was one of their god's returning to rule. I later found out that Cortes, but spelled Cortez, is also a boxer. My cat is Diosa, spanish for goddess. All of my pets get Spanish names since my undergraduate and master's degrees all involve hte study of Spanish or Latin America.
