Boxer Buddy
When I was little, my mom's BF at the time had a dog named "dammit". He trying calling the dog by other names but the dog never responded. One day the dog did something and BF said "dammit" and the dog came running. I thought it was great because I was allowed to use a "bad word".

My DH wanted to name our Bruno "DOG" pronounced as if spelling it. I wanted to name him that too!! My 5 year old skin son wanted to name him "Bruno" after a pug that he favored over 3 years ago and never forgot, so we stuck with Bruno!

Right now, we have a boy named Jigsaw (named after his flashy white marks that look like a jigsaw puzzle). But in the future we want to get two boxers pups from the same litter and name them "Rocky and Bullwinkle" or "Tango and Cash".

A friend of ours called their mut "Deefer", as in D for Dog. But then she also had a pet rat called 'Arfur' (R for Rat???)

My brothers dog was called Deefer when he adopted him but he changed it to Vegas, infact the poor dog has had 3 names now. Originally he was called Rocky, then adopted out and renamed Deefer then my brother changed it again which goes to prove it really can't confuse them that much if you change their name.
My brothers friend had a German Shepherd named 'Roach' and a cat called 'Spliff', must have been a bit embarrassing at the vets :o

I personally think my Zebedee's name is very fitting, hey maybe it's my fault he's so bouncy he's living up to his name

We rescued our baby and we couldn't come up with a name for days. We finally named him after the street he was found on. Fletcher street. So he is now Fletcher!!! I love it and I have yet to hear of another dog named that. Although my son has a fletcher in his class this year!!!
