we named our baby boy Kimber, its my husbands favorite gun... were not crazy but we do believe in protecting oneself and family... we thought of naming him butch or duke but wanted to name him something different....

We have a Sienna too .. I like that name.. and she is a redish brown color, Not a boxer but a mixed breed..Part Austrailan Shep and part neighborhood cassanova.. We got her name from a crayon color called burnt Sienna which is a redish brown color.. everyone thinks we got the name from The Toyota Mini Van but we've had her since 97 and Sienna mini van wasn't out then..

Named ours Worf

We had named our Boxer Worf after the Klingon on Star Trek. Worf was a leader, loyal, strong and faithful to his capton. Worf our boxer had many of the same traits. We are looking for a non traditional name for our new baby when we get him.

I remember a dog on the Northeastern Boxer Rescue site and his name was deeogee or something like that...it was dog spelled weird

We had a friend that named their dog "dee o gee" and their cat "cee a tie"

I always thought since some boxers make the chewbacca sound that Baca or Chewy (that may have different implications later hehehhe) would be a good name (of ocurse only i fyou have one that makes the noise).

I also like names of famous Italian actors: Pacino, De Nero, Cage, Travolta...etc.

And Greek names: Zues, Apollo, Genesis, Ares, Athena...etc.

Two of our ratties are named after goddesses; Calypso and Isis.

I think Justice sometimes wishes she was named after a goddess (and even acts like one) but instead my cop husband and my son named her. :) My son gave her Angel for her middle name, she's registered as "Justice Angel Tasei" and I always thought if we bred her, her daughter would be registered as "Justice's Everything Tasei" and we'd call her "Jet". But we won't be breeding :)
