HE HE HE. I did get a muddy pawprint on my gown!!!! It was raining the day of my wedding and someone let the dogs outside when the photographer got there smashicon So when they let them back in of course Chance was FULL of energy and excited to see everyone. He got a little muddy pawprint on my gown, it was at the bottom and was pretty light, you couldn't really see it. I didn't care at all, I just figured there was a piece of him walking down the aisle with me :D I wanted to have them in group pictures after the church but since the weather was so yucky I had forget about it :(

I went to their website but did not see it in there cataloge, hopefully since you emailed them they will be able to help you out. If you do a search on "cecile wedding cake topper" on the web you might be able to find a picture of what it can look like. I will e-mail you a picture of my cake topper, It probably won't be until late tonight or tomorrow morning because I have to wait for my hubby to be here to help me (i'm pretty stupid when it comes to computers) and I will be leaving for work soon. They did an excellent job on Candy, it looked so much like her. They could have done alittle better job on Chance (he needed alittle more white on his face) but I was still VERY HAPPY with it!!! I added my own little heart charm to it to jazz it up a bit. I hope they still make it so you can have your babies on your wedding cake!!!!!!

Hi Chewy's mom.. The figurine of my dog was just placed on a layer of the cake. It wasn't on the top. I think my husband would have killed me for that one!smashicon

Finally got pics!!!

Did you hear anything back from the company yet?

Ok, everyone who wants to see, I finally scanned some pictures of my cake, cake topper, and a few pictures of Chance with his bow-tie on (also with Candy and me) There is a total of 8 pictures. If you click on the smaller pics you will be able to see a larger view of them. The pictures aren't the greatest but at least you will have an idea of what I was talking about. (hopefully it will work) I wasn't sure if I was allowed to post the pics in my gallery or not so I had my husband put them on a different page/link.

I love your pictures, they are so cute and you looked beautiful also!!! I had a question about the paw print colors did you have them match the colors you had in your wedding?

I hope that company still makes them, now our only other major decision is who is going to wear the dress, both of our boxers are male!!! :LOL:

The color of my "girls" dresses were a real light/pale pink. My centerpieces had different pastel colored flowers in them (I love pastel colors) So I had them make the pawprints in pastel colors to match everything else. I wish they made the pawprints alittle smaller and a few other colors but I was still happy with the way it all turned out :)

It would be a hard decision to decide which one of your boy's will be the bride :eek:

Any news yet from the company?

I haven't heard back from the company yet, I might have to just give them a call. I talked to the fiance last night about the cake and he likes the idea of having the paw print cake but then I said who is going to wear the dress...his response was :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

We both agreed that we will just have our Boxer toppers made with the two boys with just black bow ties on if that is something they can do and we won't have a bride or groom on the cake just our two boys! :D

We are thinking for our dresses having a dark purple color and then for the cake have dark purple and black paw prints. It's a very cute idea and then we'll sit out pictures of them and then also I think when we get our engagement pictures taken we are going to bring them to sit in a couple of the poses and then we could sit that out too.

I'm sure everyone will think we are crazy but our immediate family and close friends know that our Boxers are our kids and that they don't think they are dogs more like people. I can't tell you the number of times Sarge who is 65 lbs wants to sit in your lap and be cuddled!!! Then again what Boxer in this world doesn't think they aren't human!lovicon lovicon

I'll keep everyone informed oh and we finally got one of the big things done...........we have a reception hall booked beericon beericon next on to the church.

Thanks for everyone's help and boxers4life2001 we have the picture of your cake you sent me hanging on our refrigerator!
