Hi, I know how scary this can be. My darling boy Zeus has just been diagnosed with lymphoma. I am doing everything I can to see that he gets the best care possible. It took weeks to get the final diagnosis so I understand how terrifying the waiting can be. All I know is that we need to be strong for them and not let them feel our fear because they do, you know. Stay strong and try not to treat him as if anything is wrong. Also, I would suggest you give him something a little healthier than hot dogs. Cook up some chicken breasts or better yet boil some chicken thighs with bones in and then debone and feed him the meat and the broth. Hot dogs are so full of stuff that is not good for anyone, but, if that is all he will eat, then by all means give him hot dogs. I am having to face each day trying to be strong for my boy. Keep praying and I will light a candle for your sweetie. Bless you both, stay strong!!

Yeah I know hot dogs arn't the best but that seemed to be all he would eat there for a few days. Hubby went to the grocery yesterday and got chicken, pork chops and a sirloin rost. And he LOVES pork chops. He ate all his regular lunch today and were cooking all kinds of good meats to add to his food so he doesn't loose any more weight. He had a really good night last night and so far today has been pretty good also, not as much coughing. Good sign I hope. 2 more days to go.

Update
Ok we saw the specialist today and he gave us a ray of light. He was a great doctor very intelligent and very nice. Great bed side mannor. He did more tests, x-rays, blood work, EKG.... and he said he didn't think it was lung cancer.
He did say though he couldn't 100% rule it out but that was not the direction he was leaning right now, they just have to cover their grounds I guess. But still for him to say that was great. He said he thought is was either some type of really bad infection/respiratory disease. He said it might not be completely curable depending on the severity but definitely treatable either way. He said its bad but just how bad well know tomorrow. He is going to do a scope down his throat and look around and take some tissue samples to see what were working with. But just to hear he wasn't thinking cancer was great news in itself.
Champ has had a better day today. Just a little coughing but still breathing pretty heavy. He had a really bad night last night and we both slept on the floor next to his bed with him. But today we both took off work and he seems to be doing better. So we will see tomorrow what else they will tell us but things are getting better little by little. I think he is getting all of those healing vibes everyone has been sending. Thanks for your support.
Oh on a side note...the staff at this clinic LOVES boxers and has boxer stuff everywhere and they just went crazy over Champ. I guess this place was ment to be.
