I'm so sorry to hear about Champ. I'll be keeping you all in my thoughts and hoping that the results come back showing that it's an infection and not cancer. ((((((hugs)))))))
Just came across this thread, and was so sorry to hear about Champ. I'll be keeping fingers and paws crossed along with the others in hopes that it proves to be nothing more than an infection. Feel better soon, Champ ~ Cathy
Yeah that was one of the antibiotics he was on earlier and the vet said to stop taking them because they could actually make either of the two scenarios (fungus/cacer) worse :( (which they didn't faze him and make him better in any way) so we just have to wait. I am working 12 hour shifts this weekend just to keep busy so I don't have to think about anything so Monday will be here in a flash. The vet said his major concern was that he DIDN"T have a temperature and that usually with any infections it is rare that he wouldn't run a fever. So that is what we are worried about that the test will come back negative for the fungus. I just sooo want it to be a fungus, at least that he can take meds for and get better. The other scenario, we just don't know what we would do. Thanks for all your warm thoughts. I'll let you know on Monday/Tuesday what he says.
I'm sorry to hear Champ isn't feeling well. Sending lots of healing vibes. We'll keep you in our thoughts and prayers. I hope you get good news on Monday. Get better soon Champ!
