I hate this forum in everyway possible, yet I love it for all the comfort that we can share with one another. I wanted to let you know that my dear sweet handsome man passed away in my husbands arms last night. Torin fell and couldn't get his back legs to stand up, he gave a couple whimpers and crossed over to the bridge. We and the local vet feel he may have had a heart attack but truly we have no idea.
Torin was the sweetest, gentlest boy I have ever known. He was so full of energy and love. He loved nothing more than to tug, go for walks and cuddle in your arms. Torin was loved by all who spent any time with him. He would jump around like a deer when he got excited, use our couch as a springboard to burn off his energy and he saved his kisses for those he loved the most.
We take great pleasure in having him for the time that we did - he was a wonderful guy. He had a personality like no other that we've ever encountered. He brought us soo much love and laughter - he was such a clown at times. He was fearless, yet a scared little puppy at other times. He loved to snuggle in bed between my husband and I and never hesitated to do what was asked of him - he was our golden boy.
We were blessed by his presence and realize Torin was here with us only for a season. In that season we learned from Torin to live in the moment, waste no time being sad, play hard and smile always.
He had the best of everything in this world and I know that he is with Dakota and all the rest of our babies at the bridge watching over us. He will always be with us, in our thoughts and deep in our hearts. My gentle sweet handsome man, you took a huge part of our hearts with you. We will never forget you and know that we will always love you.
Run free sweet boy, your passing is our greatest hurt ~ your love is what will keep us going.
