Toby's in the hospital

So last night we go to feed Toby his last meal at 2:30am.. He refuses to eat so I'm like no big deal. I know how puppies can be and sometimes they don't eat as much as others. So we go to bed and he wakes me up by throwing up (thankfully he was on the floor)... So we clean it up and go back to bed thinking it was nothing much. He ends up doing it again so Kyle calls the vet and makes an appointment for 2pm.

Well, 2pm rolls around and we head off and wait for like 30 mins to see the vet, Whom wasn't our regular vet. They were in the same building but I trust the guy since our normal vet obviously wouldn't let someone who didn't think could do a good job work in his clinic. Toby doesn't have any worms and he can't figure out WHY he's throwing up or won't eat. He had refused his morning meal too.. And won't drink. So he wanted to keep him overnight to observe him to see if it's possibly parvo. I don't think it is... But if it is, He'll be able to treat it early.

When we bring Piper in for her spay appointment tomorrow morning he said we'll most likely be able to pick him up. He even offered to let us take him home today and said he'd figure something out if we wanted that instead but I trust them and think he'd be better off there. I felt so bad walking away and now I kind of want to cry. He's like my kid.

Update

I just called.. They had said they just fed him a little bit of food and he ate that and has held it down.. But holding it down was never the problem.. , He'd throw up randomly and wouldn't even throw up his food.. It was white/yellow foamy stuff.

She told me to check back in the morning. *blink* I hope he's better by then because we want to bring him home.

Hope Toby is feeling better soon. When our babies are sick we feel so much for them. I just want to take away the pain that they are feeling. Keep us updated on his condition. Hopefully, he will be up and around soon.

How's Toby doing? Any word on what was causing his vomiting and not wanting to eat? I sure hope it's not parvo. :( Macon had parvo and pulled through, but it is such a deadly virus. Sending lots of <<healing vibes>> your way. Keep us posted

Update

When we took Piper in for her spay appointment today we got to see Toby! He was all wiggles and whines.. Then he bit Kyle a few times. , He's still active and looks alert and well EXCEPT for he's very dirty now. He's getting a medicated bath first thing when he gets home. Piper was excited to see him and so was I.. I was making myself sick over it last night/this morning so I was relieved when I saw he was okies.

They said he's eating a little bit so it's an improvement. Our regular vet was in this morning and said he wants to see him eat something this morning then he can probably come home. I'm excited and can't wait to snuggle 'em.. Krillon is the only one home right now and he's kind of excited about the attention.. Teehee. Poor thing, Every time we leave the last couple of days we don't come back with his friends.. I'm hoping by tomorrow they will all be reunited.
